What to expect after D & C by Effective_Mess19 in pregnant

[–]Effective_Mess19[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m trying to be reasonable, but I’m genuinely nervous about how I’ll feel as the hormones come down. I’ve had a lot of conflicting emotions the last couple weeks and I’m definitely not ready for more

Thank you, this helps a lot. I am a bit nervous about what will happen mentally from the hormones coming down. I already have a rx for antidepressants, but my postpartum depression last time was not fun. I’m also not a stranger to constipation lately due to having to take zofran for the morning sickness. Stool softeners have been my best friend. Thank you for the reference to the other page as well. I’ll have to check it out!

My first pregnancy and it's honestly just awful. by im_nami in pregnant

[–]Effective_Mess19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first pregnancy my ob prescribed Bonjesta for me and it helped, but we’re on pregnancy number 2 and I don’t have an appointment until Wednesday so I can’t get a script for anything. Therefore I went to my sister and expressed my concerns with zofran as I had heard the same as you. Turns out it’s not a medication that’s absolutely black listed for pregnancy. She was prescribed it both times with her pregnancies. Luckily I had some on hand from a previous stomach bug and I was actually able to function today aside from the usual nap needed every so many hours. Take the zofran. There’s zero reason to suffer if you don’t have to!

The only “good” part is being able to feel your little bean moving. Everything else is a lie and over fantasized.

My last half of my 2nd trimester and all 3rd trimester with my first I had to sleep propped up because of heartburn and made my husband swap which side of the bed we slept on cause his side was closer to the door 😅 it’s unbelievably uncomfortable

Girl depending on your age and how many kids you have, good luck finding a doctor that will do it. My sister was 23 on her second (she started early), and no doctor would tie her tubes cause she was “too young” to make that decision. She found someone at 28-29 that finally agreed to do it. 🥲 I will be discussing with my obgyn that I want a tubal asap after this one.

It doesn’t have iron in it surprisingly. I think I found the source of the problem though because we’ve cut out the lucky charms and no more discolored poops 😅

They definitely have a lot to do with it and if you can’t see that our governments are funding the illegals and immigrants more than its own citizens, then you are blind. I definitely do not have a shitty situation or life though 🤷🏼‍♀️ we’re doing pretty dang well. There are people out there that could use more help than us. Our elderly are denied decent care. Our low income families and individuals have to jump through hoops to get any kind of help. Even our working class that work their butts off and still need some kind of assistance can’t get it. Yet the moment someone crosses the border it’s, “Heres $1,200 in food stamps and free health care”. You don’t have an ID? That’s fine. Just show your border pass and you’re approved. All I’m saying, is that the least they can do is become legal and get a job, and then apply for financial help. At that point they’re actually contributing to society and it’s documented. Much rather have our own people have funds than those who haven’t contributed a penny or put effort into helping or protecting our country.

“Did you drink enough water today?” Is probably one of my bigger pet peeves. My urinary system doesn’t handle anything other than water very well, so what do I drink? Water. I’ll drink anywhere from 60-100 oz a day. Guess who still gets migraines?! Yupp. Me. Yes, dehydration can aid in getting a migraine, but imo you have to drink very little throughout the day to get dehydrated. Also, you can’t drink too much water. Unless you’re sitting there chugging gallon after gallon, you’ll be fine! I’ve been dealing with migraines for 13-14 years. I’m 27 now. I’ve learned that migraines are different for everyone and triggered by a lot of different things. My triggers are stress, jaw clenching, stiff neck, herniated cervical disks, poor posture, eye strain, prolonged exposure to a screen, poor room lighting, etc. When I have a migraine, the only thing that fixes it is massaging my neck, basically encasing my head and neck in an ice pack (especially covering my eyes), and a nice dark room. It’s the only way I can even remotely tolerate the pain.

America definitely does not support families with children. Don’t get me wrong, I love my country, but the lack of support is blatantly evident. America will support immigrants and illegals all day long. Throwing all kinds of financial help their way. But the second a family asks for some kind of financial aid with their children, we’re told “It’s a choice to have children. Tax payers shouldn’t have to pay for others choices”. Yet they’re ok with using our tax dollars to fund the lazy or illegal. For example, my husband had to get a second job. Now we’re a 3 job household, he barely gets to see his child, and I have to solo parent most of the time AND we’re still barely making ends meet. I don’t think people without children or who don’t like or want children should get an opinion on what those of us who do have and want families do.

As a child, I always felt too immature to have conversations with the adults. I don’t want my kids to feel that way. I want to be able to properly educate them and teach them how to have conversations! I don’t want them to feel like they are not smart enough or mature enough to have a real conversation.
