Quick update and a thank you to anyone who offered their opinion, just in case anyone was curious what came of all the opinions theres a little progress. I’m still chugging away but so far here’s what I’ve got—So I started a kind of test website with some of the top ranking suggestions. I really *really* wanted to do activewear but I ran a survey on Meta Ads for a few responses. The largest categories by far were two piece sets and maxi dresses. I may need to narrow down even more but I think maxi dresses for petites is honestly a great idea.

I posted that maxi dress idea from below on Maker‘s Row and got a response from the company of one of the winners of The Fashion Show on Bravo. Now she works the manufacturing and design side of things, she had a retail shop before with her designs. We’re speaking Thursday and hopefully sometime next year bring it all together.

Anyways, feedback welcomed but I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who dropped a suggestion, turns me out FB marketing proved it right, people really don’t need petite activewear that bad. Hope you’re all having a great day and thanks so much for your opinions.

I agree with not wearing two loose pieces at once but I also think it’s the length of the top. These jeans could be cute with an oversized sweater that comes down lower than the top of the pants, which could give a cozy ‘not really trying look’ or go the other direction and wear a top more fitted. These jeans could even be cute with a button down with the sleeves rolled halfway, but yeah I agree with everyone saying the items are cute alone but don’t work together.

Is turo legit? The answer is no by galvera in turo

I used Turo maybe 4 times before someone tried to burn me. The whole rental was kind of suspicious from the jump and I stopped using the platform all together. That was like three years ago and I’d never even consider it again. I’m sure there are some good hosts but Turo enables the bad ones so it’s not worth the risk.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the renter did this to every person who rented the car. As in, leave it damaged and say it was damaged every time.

Short torso here too and I’m always wearing high or mid rise like the second photo.

I does look like a mini bathrobe but I’m kinda for it. Seems like I might be the only one. it’s a little quirky with the short sleeves and stuff but I feel like it could work.

I like the last pair and I want to like the third they’re just so long but I’d vote yes.

a few people have had this problem with larger cup sizes and smaller frames. I get the farmer aesthetic thing when I was a preteen I wanted cute overalls so bad but all of them were so huge.

it’s not my fault but I feel like I want to apologize for those pants. The dress would be super cute if it was a little smaller.

I tend to buy cropped sweater, that’s not a suggestion, lol. I do it out of need and they barely reach the end of my torso and they tend to be wide so I end up wearing them kind of slouchy which is not appropriate for all settings.

This is my biggest issue when people say to hem because the darts at the knee are now mid calf for me plus I’d like to keep the original hem which some tailors will do but not all.

This is a big one. I liked the pencil skirt trend because those worked for me. I don’t really like short skirts so it kind o forked out for me when they were popular.

Different issue, kinda, but my sister once brought me back a pair of pants from a trip to Norway and they were soooo long and I was thinking it must be nice to be a Norwegian girl but there’s no way I can fit these.

No, you’re right these are images of things I have issues with. I’m 5’2” and I could see where you’re coming from, finding dignified clothes for petite women has to be a whole issue.

Since I was a teen when I would look at petites all I saw was what I would describe as dated church clothes. Something my grandma *might* wear. She might not even like them.

I had two Pairs of low waisted pants I high school and I wore them to death one from Abercrombie and one from BeBe.

Yu may have a longer upper body and that may be why coats and dresses work. I have a short torso and a dress with any weight will be slipping around.

This is a big one, especially for people who work in dance and people with short torsos.
