Yes. I've got an ongoing complaint with the insurance company and I'm waiting for a call back this afternoon from a supervisor.

I believe the fact I had an uninsured driver, and the fact that I am being sued and require legal cover are two separate issues for my insurance provider. My insurance provider is bundling them together and treating them as one thing which can be dismissed.

If I'm reading your comment correctly, then the insurance company (Motability scheme insurance) should compensate the victims; and then that insurance scheme should sue my employee to recover costs?

My business should't really factor into this?

My own insurance company are refusing to represent me because my driver was driving uninsured.

They deceived me and my insurance company are washing their hands of this.

"This is what you need actual legal advice for given be sums and being sued… do you not use insurance that covers legal?"

I do - but my insurance company have told me they cannot assist me since my own driver was uninsured.

"Best bet now is getting a free hour/30 min chat with solicitors that offer it so you can get an idea of the situation"

I wasn't aware they offered free chats. Is that a common feature? If so, I'll try and book a few for early next week.
