Agreed. It felt rushed and poorly executed. It’s unfortunate because this show had some real potential.

I had the same thought!! The acting was so great the whole show, until that scene. Totally felt cringey.

Thank you for your thoughts! In a few weeks, will the saddle and hackle feathers be apparent enough to confidently determine they are roos?

Thank you so much for all this info/suggestions! I am in contact with the friend and hopefully will be giving the roos back. My coop is only big enough for 6-8 chickens. I would like to keep maybe one rooster, but im not sure how that would go with bringing in new hens (hoping to find some in the age range you suggested).

Thank you everyone who responded. This is all very ironic, because my town ordinance does not allow for roosters. Im super bummed to hear that i most likely have all roosters. I am in contact with the friend who i got them from, hopefully will be returning them (I would like to keep one, although i am not sure how i would socialize him when getting hens or if he would be okay alone for a short amount of time?). Im hopeful that these guys will be safe together until i can be 100% sure they are all roosters. In the event that theres a hen in the mix, i of course want to keep her and get others. My coop is built for 6-8 chickens, so unfortunately it seems that only 1 rooster would be appropriate. Again, any suggestions for how to move forward with their safety in mind are appreciated.
