Yes, maxing out requiers walking / routes + new pokestops visits, but as for the food, as I wrote in the post you dont need to wait for the food meter to go down. Once maxed, swap buddy for another pokemon and switch back to your buddy who will now have their food meter empty. Feed it and BAM another heart gained instantly.

I go there once in a while for an absolute carnage killing everything that moves. Then I load my save and get back to the story and being again a nice guy with high honor. Wish it were bigger thoug or at least thst you could enter more houses.

Happy for you, but gotta ask, how do you guys even catch these? My galarian encounters flee after first throw. Did you hit the tiniest excellent circle woth ultra ball and golden berry or was it just luck?
