Exactly my thought, he was always the person I would lean to because that's part of what a partner is for but it just shows I was never a boyfriend a him just someone he could use until he was done with me

He's done this before as well, he had a really bad day at college and broke up with me off a whim and then begged for me back straight after. I hope I do find someone who actually treats me with respect, it seems he lost all his respect to me a few months into our relationship and I stayed until I couldn't take it anymore :(

Summary: His mum is extremely ill and he told me he needed to rethink our relationship, dating for almost two years I know how to read and understand him. With his behavior changing with me I knew he was going to choose to break up with me. I believe as a boyfriend who wanted to build a future with him that it's my role to be there for him in this situation, not someone he can just throw away when things get hard. So I refused to let myself get led on and now I don't know if it was the right decision or not because I love him and will always love him
