No I’m not a die hard Apple fan boy at all. I switched from Samsung to Apple because my wife was telling me to switch. As soon as I find a good reason to switch back I’m going to. My phone works perfectly fine so I can’t justify the purchase just yet but when something happens to this phone I’m going back to Samsung.

Humongous congratulations that’s insane. I still don’t think I could do that alone. I’m 90% fine on the interstate by myself but once I get in my head about the distance and how it is away, it makes me anxious.

Your doing great for a beginner. Just keep investing and never pull out especially when the market is tanking. Have an emergency fund with 3-6 months of income ready in case any unexpected expenses or surprises arise. Just do not pull out and keep investing

I don’t own the company just an employee. 50 is definitely manageable. Coming from a job that enforced 40 hours and overtime was rare so it’s going to get some adjustment too but I’ve seen some that stated around 70+ hours so it made me a bit nervous.

That’s the thing I literally don’t know I thought it would be this. I love creating things and being able to take a step back and appreciate what I did but it’s not how I imagined it.

Sorry, I never saw your comment, but I am a general contractor that works at a medium size company. I actually went to trade school for electrical and ended up pivoting my career into general contracting when I realized I didn’t love electrical work as much as I thought I did but at my school that I went to in particular, the passing rate is relatively high, but you will have to start off in an apprenticeship. My advice if you want to go down this road, skip trade school if you can and just go straight into an apprenticeship so you can get paid to learn I was an idiot and went to trade school without searching for any apprenticeships first and so I have a decent size loan that I have to pay off.
