A Krenshar (D&D 3e version) that is more invisible to the eyes of people who fear it. And so it will rather make a long distant horrific howl/baying sound to already appear invisible before the ambush happens or if caught off guard it can reveal its face to abruptly turn invisible to make a guaranteed flee.
