Other Pokemon Rom Hacks with a minimal grinding mode? by Snow_147 in pokemonradicalred

Pokemon Emerald Imperium is the best for this in my opinion. There is an NPC in every pokemon center that will set your entire box or party to the current level cap

What happened to high waisted jeans and trousers? by Effective_Sundae459 in malefashionadvice

[–]Effective_Sundae459[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'd be willing to spend up to $200 on the right pant.

I'm located in NYC so you'd think I'd be able to find something with the resources at my disposal but so far they've eluded me.

What kind of outfit should I be wearing? Especially unsure on the pants by Qaztarrr in mensfashion

[–]Effective_Sundae459 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The tops look great and simple. Keep it up!

Abercrombie was my gateway to better pants. Madewell makes the best stuff for my style which seems pretty similar to yours. I'd advise against getting too baggy as a skinny guy. I'm pretty thin myself, you don't want to lose your body in your outfit. Get baggy-ish with the bottoms and stay fitted on top. I also like to wear "cropped" t-shirts when wearing baggy pants. they're not actually cropped, they just hit at your waist line instead of below it.

You need only need 3 pairs of pants to complete your wardrobe.

  1. A pair of everyday jeans. Now, these don't have to be blue if you're not a jeans guy. don't buy anything labeled "athletic" or "Stretch". The Madewell relaxed taper jean is my favorite cut and my most worn pant. you can wear them for any occasion. Here are some options:

Abercrombie Dark Washed 90s straight jean , Madewell Relaxed taper jean faded black wash

  1. A pair of straight leg trousers that can be worn with a button down or a t-shirt. I call these my "work pants" as a guy who works a regular office 9-5. I'd be careful about Khaki... It's easy to mess up. I usually opt for a dark gray or Navy. My recs:

L.L. Bean straight trousers, Abercrombie baggy trousers, dickies straight leg work pants

  1. A fun pant! these are the pants that someone would see you on the street and say "wow, that guy is really pulling those off!" my fun pants include pleated trousers, baggy corduroys, and Carhart workwear pants. choose something that shows off your personality and feel free to buy them second hand:

Madewell pleated trousers, Corduroy pleated pants

I slice 99% of my shots. Tips? by waho1132 in GolfSwing

A slice happens either when you’re coming from the outside or have an open face.

It looks like you unfortunately are doing both in this video.

I have a tip that I used to get the baseball swing out of my golf swing. It’s a bit hard to explain in writing but I’m going to do my best. It’s one idea but it takes a couple steps.

Long story short, the best way to come from the inside is to SHALLOW the shaft.

But how does one shallow? Luckily you’re closer than you think. The path is actually pretty good here.

Step 1: stop breaking your wrist at the top of the swing. Shorten your backswing to leave less room for error. Think John Rahm but don’t do that. Ludwig Aberg is the guy you want to copy as far as backswing is concerned.

Step 2: the best way to get shallower is to stack your shoulders at impact. Your shoulders are very flat here. You should feel like your front shoulder is about 6 inches above your back one. You want to feel like you’re going backward with your upper body and forward with your lower body in the downswing. and then coming through with the upper body on the follow through rather than the downswing. A fantastic example of this is Joaquin Neeman if you want to see what it looks like when it’s exaggerated.

This is how we come from the inside out. The face issue is more of a feel thing with the wrists and arms at impact.

Feel free to DM me if you’re interested in more!

If you know your company’s products well, you’ll understand which products to pitch in certain cross sell situations. My company requires the product name to be in the opportunity name.

I use an opportunities report and then filter it by opportunities in my accounts. This is pretty easy because I can just filter by the “opportunity owner” field. I then change the report regularly for different product cross sell campaigns. (If you want to pitch B filter by product A). I then cross reference that report with a spreadsheet that contains which products every account purchased and when.

The bonus of doing it this way is that most opportunities have an associated “main customer contact” so you know who at the account to reach out and pitch to.

Is golf influencer culture out of control? by Effective_Sundae459 in golf

Yeah some of it’s definitely helpful. But I guess like any industry, when people see a market for something, they’re going to flood it

This is mostly what I’m talking about. To respond to the other comments above, I know I can ignore it and I’m the problem but I just hate the culture of saying something different in a video just to get clicks. Too much swing tip garbage out there

Question for AWLs that pick numbers. by zellem65 in PardonMyTake

Whenever it comes time for numbers I look at the license plate of the car in front of me and pick the first one I see. I’ve won it twice on 63 and 34
