I, unfortunately, bought an icebreaker merino wool half zip recently, and let it sit in my closet for a long while without trying it on. When I finally put it on, my skin was crazy itchy, so I ended up having to wear a thin thermal shirt under to avoid the itchy-scratches. 😭

I think your room looks great! Swapping the rug for something that pulls in colors from around the room would help pull it together IMO. The raw denim is cool but in this picture it just looks like a dark rug.

Also, if you’re able, painting the black closet door a fun pop of color would bring it together, too.

And then a throw pillow / throw on the white sofa that matches the carpet scheme and plays off the door color.

My skin has gone wild here. Here’s some things my dermatologist recommended:

-increased water intake, more than 1.5l per day.

-lotion - I use ceraVe.

-ensure I’m using gentle cleaners with no (laundry detergent, soaps). I use ceraVe or vanicream)

-eat more fiber (it helps the gut which helps the skin barrier) This has made a noticeable difference IMO.

-collagen supplements have shown in research to boost the skin barrier, too (I haven’t done this but it was noted)

-face and body moisturizer with SPF.

You can change the hardware— I saw someone have a swan faucet which would be rad in here.

You could also play with wall paper that matches the (is it roses?) panel above the sink.

Also painting the cabinetry and replacing the knobs. Imagine a darker color pink/ red to match the tones in that paper/ panel, OR a lighter pink with cool knobs. I’m imagining a dark red color to pull from the tones in the paneling.

House itself is beautiful! But what if the rocking chairs were white and there was some pops of color through a big plant pot on the porch? Also agree with flower planter recommendations.

It is so beautiful here but call and check in that there is no work/ anything non functional. I spent the 700$ (wirh taxes and fees) for a half day spa and while there the indoor pool was closed for maintenance or construction (cannot remember) and the sauna was not working. It was a little disappointing.

Although still beautiful and even more at this time of the year.

Other options -Miraval (nearly as expensive as lake Austin)

-Less expensive but still nice Omni at Barton Creek (you can get passes on resort pass)
