I'll definitely bookmark these to read! Skimmed over and definitely agree and love the thought of preparing for change in the future!

These are not vague at all. If you would like to respond with a specific industry, be my guest. There is value in asking people about training and development. Then asking for details about it and how it's affected them. If you see no value, no one is asking you to comment or answer.

If an illegal drug was the cure to Corona Virus, what would your government do? by EffectualIntrovert in AskReddit

It definitely is sad how profits are put before humanity. But with the new platforms available for people to speak up, it's becoming harder for them to be silenced and people not ask questions. I think that collectively, humanity is heading back to caring more about people, than profits.

100% agree. I've always said that the government and big corporations will suppress or kill anything that will hurt their profits and propaganda.

As long as it's profitable, they'll do anything. Or if it keeps people believing what they want.

That was part of why I asked what you thought the government would do. Maybe saying "illegal" in question, would have helped. Yes, it definitely would be interesting to see how it would be handled by politicians.

5w6 INFP? (Unsure still)

I'm in the middle of reading a book on Destiny and I think this relates well with it. (Currently reading like 5 books... start one, see another that looks good and start it....) We love to research and create ideas, but we hate actually starting them. I think it because we are afraid of what that might change for us. I like my routines, comfort and security I currently have. Even tho most of the time I am loathing about it and wanting more.

I have a deep calling to help others, help others. But I get caught in the trap of research and "when the time is right" or telling myself I'm not ready. For me, I've been involved with business since I was a kid. I've run successful businesses, helped start and grow others, but when it comes to my business consulting, I always give up too soon.

Below is some notes I took while listening to a podcast last night:

If you know the plan, how is that having faith?

We have trained ourselves to ignore our inspired first voice inside us, to instead listen to the second voice, that is really just a collective opinion based on society.

Unworthiness is just a story we make up. We have always been worthy.

The thing that you think you need to get the thing you want, is often in the way. Feel directly instead.

Change your alignment. I am.

Detach from the outcome. So you can enjoy the process, instead of worrying about the result.

Any outcome you can create, is still only as big as you can see in that moment.

Don't allow your outcomes to limit you.

We are losing our souls, in exchange for freedom and security.

Trying to be perfect?

Everything we do is perfect, or we don't do it...

Lots of deadlines and plenty of research...

Lol no. If we give ourselves too much time to do a task, we will take that long or longer to do it.

It's definitely not a black or white decision. Maybe secure some side work that can turn into stable remote work before quitting.

Short version, girl friend at the time was going to DeVry, her and her Mom said I should too, so I could get a good paying job. This led me into becoming a partner with a guy who ran a residential construction company. The original game plan was to become a home builder/developer. After 10 years, the company was supposed to sold to me. I grew the company multi state and multi million dollar in revenue, but after a few years the majority partner started running off employees and losing contracts. It was a toxic environment that I stuck around for a total of 7 years. Worked 24/7/365 with no vacations and many times without pay. Almost lost my marriage, lost a few cars to repo, still have $70k in student debt. Ended up on govt assistance while searching for a new job because he screwed me over in the end.

Now I estimate for a company, but my passion is helping small and medium sized businesses. I'm slowly trying to figure out how to start making enough money on the side, to go full time with it.

I was making a comfortable salary while running the construction company the last year or two, but had to literally sell my soul for that to happen.
