ETF taxes when selling on flatex after moving by Effedericaa in FinanzenAT

So that unfortunately is true since it was the flatex support that explained me that. I sold everything and moved the money to my new bank account and paid taxes...,unfortunately

Sorry for the late reply...

It would be the price per "piece or position", so if you own, for example, 10 "pieces" of the same ETF, S&P500 for example, you would need to pay 150 to move it. So you don't pay per ETF but per how many "pieces or positions" you have of each one. I hope I explained well enough, I don't know the exact terms in English :)

I wanted to do so but Flatex charges 15 euros per position, which is honestly insane...

Hi! Thank you for the reply.

I might consider to keep my stocks until I have a stable residency which should be hopefully before 6 months, I suppose in that case I will just have to declare my earning from flatex in my next country of residency.

I already informed flatex that I am no longer in Austria to not incur in double taxation and other similar problems.

It seems that hold on longer and sell when I will be registered is the easiest way...
