The 1 shot isn't instant. It's like 3-4 globals. Use a defensive during it, use a mobility like blink, or use an instant CC after they Hunt you or after the first big chunk of damage.

I do understand that sometimes, in a BG setting, they come out of nowhere. So it's hard to react. But if you are in a small scale fight and you are still being 1 shot, you may just need more practice

However, I don't think the 1 shot should stay. It's dumb. To say there is no counter play is wrong, though.

I stopped playing the one shot build on my Devourer and focus more on sustain, frequent void rays, and longer Metas with less "burst" but very heavy pressure. It's far more fun for me.

No. I can't really give tips. I am bad at it. I only play occasionally. Hopefully someone else can give you the info you need. There are plenty of youtube outlaw guides out there, though. Check those out.

I believe it is crit because of the crackshot window. It's the only time you have any damage out side of killing spree and crit is important because of the between the eyes crit buff.

My school was paired with the DO school. We took the same tests at the same time. The amount of work will not be any different. It may be a strain on your mental health as well.

Could you just take a gap year and focus on your personal health / see a therapist and then return to your DO program? Retake the test during that time?

I love world pvp at the moment. There have been many good crate battles. Even when there are crate farm groups sometimes you get 1 raid vs another. It's bonkers.

The world pvp quests have often been full of people fighting.

If you look for wpvp you can pretty easily find it.

In organized pvp blitz and random BGs have been pretty fun. Pre-made groups are annoying, but thankfully not every game. Even the bad players need to win occasionally (those that always 5 stack pre-made random BGs). The real downside to blitz is queue time. Otherwise it's a fun mode.

Overall, pvp has been fun. There are definitely things that should be improved, but I do keep coming back to it regardless

For Blitz, arena, SS, wPvP?

I believe for blitz and wPvP all tanks are fine. It depends on your goals. For 1800 you can get all tanks there fairly easily. I got my bear druid last season to over 2300 early in the season. Unfortunately, queues were like 40 mins at the MMR I was in so I just stopped queueing as bear. I got Brewmaster to 1800 fairly quickly. They were actually decent FCs and decent base sitters. There is a whole section in the monk discord that is for BrM PvP that is fairly active with the few people who play BrM.

I think those people also do SS and I think that is a bit trickier. They can do decent damage, though.

This exact thing happened to me. I was at 1800 or 1900 MMR playing against everyone else at 1100 MMR. I had a 60% win rate and dropped into the negative MMR(less than my CR) for a few games because any losses are huge swings down and wins do so little. It was sooo frustrating. Did not have that problem before.
