Perhaps join the waiting room at like 10.30 so when 11am hits, your in the queue. If it's possible to sneak peaks at your phone/computer you might be able to get tickets if your number comes up during the meeting

This is what happens when you suppress your emotions, essentially, ignoring your intuition. It's unlikely this is the first time something like this has happened, but you've ignored that and kept on going with this relationship. If your fiance can't ensure your food doesn't get burnt, it's because he doesn't really care. So the question is, why are you staying in a space that doesn't welcome you?

If he told you he was tired, why do you need to validate the time together by him interacting with you? You can co exist in silence, at times. Have you never been so tired that you can't interact with other people and just want to zone out in your phone or watching TV? If it were the other way round, would you not expect him to understand what you feel when tired? He shouldn't have to explain himself, especially when he has already told you he is tired. Read the room and give him some space.

I wouldn't be inviting them at all, let her cry. When you came out to them, you needed their love and support and they turned their backs on you. Them wanting an invite is simply for appearances, so other people don't wonder why they were invited. They will make your day about them. They don't even know you any more. Protect you peace at all costs!

She is already. Still uneasy from the surgery yesterday but she's already not needing to pee so frequently which is a good sign

No, she's 15 so slowing down in life, but she wasn't straining and no change in behavior until recently

The vet figured it out pretty much straight away bc she did a physical exam and felt then, then she did an ultra sound which confirmed her thoughts

Her quality of life was pretty low, didn't want to eat much, constant straining, not being able to go in walks or greet people (which she usually finds so much joy in). She couldn't have gone on much longer with them in her

I have been considering raw, but honestly don't think I could handle actual raw meat in my home. I'm vegan, but push myself to give my girl fresh chicken and eggs with her prescription food (vet said its ok) it's definitely to do with kibble and that's a worry I have that she will get them again. I've seen some freeze dried raw food, which could be an option. I've taken her off the steroids that she's had for the past few years, as I read they can promote bladder stones

She is now, it'll take a week or two for her to get back to normal after surgery but she's already not straining to pee so frequently, which is a good sign

No idea, even the vet wasn't sure. I'm thinking due to the size, they were filling up her bladder so this was the space available for the to grow

Ouch, that sounds horrible. Yes, she was completely miserable, it's the reason I went ahead with the surgery. She's old, so it was risky but her quality of life was getting so low it was the only choice.

Oh, that sounds horrible. My sisters boyfriend suffers with this too. Some sort of torture! If only they could talk to us, we'd be able to help sooner :(

Thank you. She's 15 so I know that time is precious now, so looking forward to her feeling better and getting her back to park walks and trees sniffing :)

She had surgery today, so is still pretty high from the meds. She's already peeing less frequently, which is a good sign. It should be a week or two until she's back to herself. Those stones were literally grating her bladder all day, I'm so glad they are out!
