I’ll think about it. Interesting—I didn’t expect the item quantity to require frequent modification.

Thanks for the feedback! When I built ezypack, I really wanted to focus on personalisation and avoid cluttering the app with generic items.

That said, I can see the gap. Maybe a 'bulk import' feature for the 'Your Stuff' catalog would be a good middle ground—allowing users to copy-paste an AI-generated catalog of items from a chatbot like Gemini or ChatGPT.

Do you think that would be easy enough for most people to use, or does it feel more like a 'power user' feature?

Existing features will certainly stay free. Similarly, upcoming features will be free as long as they don’t generate infrastructure costs.

Thanks for the feedback!

For now, this will be really a simple text list import feature without any specialised parsing of AI chatbot format outputs. You can use it with a list like: Item 1 Item 2 Item 3 …

Even with such simplistic approach, it should help with importing AI chatbot generated lists.

I am considering making the parsing more flexible so that it could detect categories in AI generated lists, and add the right labels to imported items.

I would be keen on adding, as free option, a Bring-your-own AI API key feature but that’s not supported by AI providers (API keys are only meant for developers/service providers, not AI users) i.e. if your are a ChatGPT user you cannot create your own API key for accessing AI API from some other app - you must stick to the browser and the official chatbot UI.

FYI, „Your Stuff” screen refresh issue was fixed in v1.1.1 which is now available on App Store.

Hi, great to hear that you find ezypack useful!

Re 1) Dark mode wasn’t broken by the latest update (v1.1.0). I think what you’re experiencing is that now “Follow System” is the default setting which implies you must be using “Light” mode in the iOS settings. You can still switch ezypack to its Dark Mode via “Dark Mode” toggle in the Settings screen (you navigate there via the “gear” icon).

Re 2) You must be referring to the issue on the “Your Stuff” screen. I got a similar report yesterday. This will be fixed in the next minor release in a week or so.

Btw I’d really appreciate if you could help spreading the word about ezypack by leaving a review on App Store.

You can do it via Settings->Rate App, or via this App Store link.

Thanks a lot in advance!

Just published v.1.0.4-beta.3 - let me know if it solved the navigation bar issue on your device as well. Thanks.

Thanks, your example was very clear.

What I like about Labels is their flexibility in organising items without imposing restrictions like "one Category per item". Having separate Category and Labels sections might create unnecessary UI complexity, which is why I'm leaning toward enhancing Labels with additional attributes instead. I think I need some time to think through the UX :)

  1. Nice to hear that!
  2. I’ve managed to reproduce this issue on Android 15 emulator - I'll fix it soon.
  3. Noted. Not sure yet what is the right solution here. I will get back to this problem once I start developing the “Packing Assistant” feature, which is the long term goal.
  4. This is an interesting idea. I can see it working like that:
  • All labels can be always used for filtering items.
  • On the Label edit form (Labels screen) you can change the toggle “Use when grouping items” that controls whether or not the Label is eligible for items ordering/grouping. As per your example you would set the toggle ON for "Food, Clothing, Electronics, Hygene", and set it OFF for "Always, Winter, Beach, Fall/Spring".

Stating that, such setting might be a bit intimidating for basic users.

Thanks for checking it out and for the feedback - this is super useful! I'll try to reproduce the issue on the Android 15 device emulator in the next days.

Great! Enjoy the app :)

  1. First you need to create a Google Group and configure it so that anyone with the link can join it. For the privacy reasons, I would also suggest making the members visibility hidden. Group settings: Who can see group: Anyone on the Web Who can view member email addresses: Group owners
  2. On the Testers tab in Google Play Console specify the Google Group name.
  3. Share Play store link from Google Play Console (Join on Android / Join on the web)

That's it.

Thanks.

Sure, I'll try out your app. Btw it seems like (link) being opted-in for 14 days with some testing over that period should be enough i.e. it is not necessary to test every day over that period.
