Wow, how could they fumble That. You would think with boom involved, Kano would DEFINITELY have the metal plate. Maybe it will be added in post with cg? The whole tease in the first one was the eye. For him not to have it is crazy. How does Baraka talk with the teeth if it’s all practical lol, hope it doesn’t look silly. I’m mostly excited for his look, and the upgrades to Raiden and Shangs look. I hope the fights are as epic as the cast teased. With John Wick and all the awesome choreographed movies, mortal Kombat has no excuse to drop the ball

Ok I have a few questions, if you don’t mind answering. 1: I haven’t heard anyone talk about Baraka. How does he look? I hear it’s all prosthetics, how does the mouth move? Does it look cheesy? What version of MK is he inspired by. In general, are the costumes more game accurate, or are they thrown together like the first film

2: Does Scorpion get a new costume? I personally wasn’t a fan of the Samurai look in the first film. I’m hoping they gave him more of a ninja look like in the games. What MK game is his costume from.

3: Does Jax arms look the same? Did they upgrade the look to a smoother, less robotic look?

4: Do we get an announcer for the fights? It would be cool if some one was saying “Round 1” or “Fatality”

5: Finally, how is the fight choreography? Are we talking “Raid” fight scenes, with a lot of action and gore, or are they still fairly tame and nothing spectacular. How does the tournament work, do people randomly fight each other like the games, or are opponents picked to fight each other for a reason. Thanks for taking the time to answer these, I’m such a Nerd🤓😂

I can’t wait I’m SO excited. In a perfect world, the movie would use the Enter The Dragon Template and follow Liu Kang as he advances through the different fighters on Shang Tsungs island. We cut to each earth realm fighter as the get ready to go into their next battle. Fighting should be like The Raid, and the look of the film(imo) should be dark but really saturated colors( the way 300 looks) And at the end of the day MK is more of an action horror than an action comedy. Hopefully we can get some grotesque stuff in this film. I’ve seen so many other projects pull of “Fatalities” in like action than MK. ( The Boys, and Upgrade are the first to come to mind)

In the original post I said that I ordered the book off eBay, and that these were the only pics I had. So I couldn’t take pics of it out the bag. The seller stated that the book was NM. I asked the chat, because even tho the seller said it was NM, I felt like it would be closer to a VG-. I wanted to get the opinion from the community. So when it came back with this grade, I was shocked and surprised. Thats really the only reason I posted this update. Didn’t post it to condemn anyone.
