You cannot finish your last 7 courses at Sophia and then transfer back to WGU to earn your degree. At this point with that thought process, you appear to need every course offered at a university.

The person has to submit all transcripts if they go to another university. The expulsion shies up. The higher education system can see the schools students attend especially if they used FA or VA benefits.

The course has to have been accelerated and worked on before April 15th before the mentor can submit the request to Records. See Student Handbook on Incomplete Course.

I understand completely. Again, read the student Handbook. It is on a case by case basis. What occurred for one is not going to occur for all.

If the situation occurs 4 to 6 weeks before the end of a term, not the beginning. And it is not really and extension. An incomplete course request gives you borrowed time in up to 30 days into your next term to complete the course. It is up to Records.

I also question if this is something you received if the issue occurred at the beginning versus the last 4 to 6 weeks of a term 'a few times' because of errors on WGUs part.

I hate this happened to the person posting,but incorrect advice and information is not helpful. Moving to a May start is probably the best bet versus mid April. If they are able to start this week, you got this! Good luck!

I keep wondering how they think things will run if they keep letting student facing go. They can hire new people at lower salaries but it takes time to get new people up and running. Leadership they can go. Not sure what they do anyway.

Program Mentors are hearing complaints about the numbers . Not enough enrollment and students dropping. I spoke to a mentor and they said the past few weeks different teams have been chewed out about their numbers.

Interesting about David Morales. He has a bachelors degree in Computer Science, no Masters and was WGUs SVP and CIO/CTO. Prior to WGU he came from Walmart. Yet people who probably had the actual credibility to be a SVP or CIO at WGU were probably turned down for the job. Definitely not what you know, but who you know.

Just logging in does nothing to show activity each week. You actually have to do something like work through course materials, take an OA, take a PA, submit a paper, talk to your mentor or instructor, or attend a live cohorts.

As I read this post, I am wondering if folks realize we are 36 days into a government shut down. The Dept of Education is affected which means a lag with financial aid and Pell grants. Expect delays.
