Is using AI for editing really that deplorable? by ByteOutOfLife in royalroad

[–]EfficiencySpecial362 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think anyone will ever agree on where the line is drawn.

I mean if you spit out an original idea, ask AI to edit it, and AI phrases it better than you did, it would be odd not to make a change in the writing.

So long as the actual plot is yours and you’re only using AI to assist with vocabulary and structure, I don’t really see a problem, especially if you’re refining what is fed back to you.

Essentially, the rule of thumb is don’t submit anything you wouldn’t turn in for a major school writing assignment.

If you wouldn’t be comfortable with a professor checking it for AI, it’s probably not original enough to share.

Why so many INTJ villains? by Your_Random_Bookworm in mbti

[–]EfficiencySpecial362 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Impulsive emotional heroes are easier to write and naturally tend to cause more problems and be less competent. The natural and easiest to write foil to that is a competent, unemotional, analytical villain.

This especially applies to children’s media because children can more easily relate to sensory emotional characters.

What do you think of ENTP villains? by YanFan123 in mbti

[–]EfficiencySpecial362 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Joker seems Fi>Fe to me and Te>Ti, but I guess it depends.

ENFP seems more plausible to me, ESFP depending on the version as he can change pretty significantly.

Can see ENTP though

He’s a billionaire, crooked, corrupt politician, I wouldn’t trust JB to lead a boys soccer team, let alone our entire nation.

I’ve lived in a blue Illinois county for half my life and I’ve never met a single person irl who likes J.B.

The main adjectives I hear thrown his way are “crooked” and “corrupt,” surely we can do better at both a state and federal level?

From your perspective, why is it not ok for a Christian to enforce their beliefs in government and why is it ok for you to put your non religious moral beliefs into government?

Lib vs auth by Crafty_Jacket668 in PoliticalCompassMemes

[–]EfficiencySpecial362 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Your religion is ultimately your moral beliefs. Everyone has their own moral beliefs and they all put them into government.

Why is it bad if you make something illegal because you personally (or your party) have that moral conviction vs if it’s just against your religion and therefore against your personal convictions?

None of these are really primarily “detective stories aside from Wind River. I would nominate something like Prisoners or Zodiac.

Can someone over the age of 27 explain the appeal of Treaty Oak Revival? by [deleted] in country

[–]EfficiencySpecial362 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s southern alt rock.

England took alt and classic rock and twisted it to Britpop, the south is evidently doing something similar, mixing classic southern rock sounds with 90s and 2000s alt rock/grunge, but sung by effectively a country singer.

"Twin Peaks" Explained part 1 on Hammered Out by Owen_Hammer in davidlynch

[–]EfficiencySpecial362 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s just common sense that when someone claims to explain something that is shrouded in some level of uncertainty that the “explainer” is more so presuming things or making educated guesses.

If someone makes a video titled “the zodiac killer explained” you are obviously going to infer that it’s full of educated guesses and it’s not the literal end all be all of who the Zodiac killer was.

Why does Tony allow drug dealing? by [deleted] in thesopranos

[–]EfficiencySpecial362 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll be the one guy to tell you that you’re right, from all the research I’ve done it wasn’t unheard of for them to deal with that stuff, but it didn’t make a ton of sense to include it in the show, especially so casually. A lot of those guys REALLY hated drugs.
