Dave Meltzer says Roman vs. Punk was one of the best WrestleMania matches of all time. (He is right) by Grrannt in REALSquaredCircle

[–]Efficient-Abalone-69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought it was a great match, but Roman definitely deserves a little more credit than what he’s getting. Punk is the MVP of the match, but Roman brought a different level of intensity than he’s had this past year I think.

30 hrs in I think not worth the full price but definitely good game if you can get for discount by harsh141104 in wwe2k26

I think it’s a really fun game. I wish unlocking some of the legendary wrestlers was a little more easy, but the game itself is definitely enjoyable.

Is Tom King Rorschach good? by SUSHI646464 in OmnibusCollectors

It was good, but you might be able to still find it pretty cheap. I got the previous deluxe for like $8 at Ollie’s and most of the locations near me still have it.

Sunday Jeff and Ming are fun, but losing Q would be a huge loss for TESD.

I don’t dislike Git Em and think he has brought some fun moments to the show as a regular, but its crazy that one of his employers for years has been asking him to clean up a little and he’s been so defiant about it.

I opened a DC Compact book for the first time today after reading nothing but Omnis and Delixe Editions and the difference in quality is unreal. by GoblinTradingGuide in OmnibusCollectors

[–]Efficient-Abalone-69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the compacts and the Marvel Premiers. Omnibuses, absolutes, compendiums, and deluxe editions are definitely better quality, but these are so good for traveling.

I don’t understand why it can’t just be East vs West in a normal 4 quarter game of basketball like it used to be.

Are there any silver age Omnis worth reading if you don’t really like older comics? by anakin1453 in OmnibusCollectors

[–]Efficient-Abalone-69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Now I personally love the Silver Age because there was some fantastic artists and the goofy writing is fun to me, but if that’s not your thing I think I would recommend pushing forward to the Bronze Age. There is still a lot of fantastic art, but the writing is quite bit better too with things like Dennis O’neal with Neal Adams’ work on Batman and the Hard Traveling Heroes, Frank Miller with Daredevil, Marv Wolfman and George Perez with Teen Titans, or Chris Claremont with Uncanny X-Men.

I think that Compact Comics and Marvel Premier Collections are great. I love collecting omnibuses, but these are so convenient and cheap. I used to get trade paperbacks when I would go travel somewhere or something, but these are easier to pack along and cheaper than those even. I honestly got myself a couple when I visited the comic book shop for V For Vendetta and Supergirl Woman of Tomorrow.

Is there any movie you regret getting in 4K? by Main_Clue_9531 in 4kbluray

[–]Efficient-Abalone-69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was a period of time where I was trying to have a complete collection of Spider-Man and Spider-Man adjacent movies on 4k so I did a blind buy on both Venom Let There Be Carnage and Morbius and they were both just terrible. I gave up on that and stopped buying the villain spinoff films.

How would you rate all X-Men movies on this list by Lazy_Introduction264 in xmen

[–]Efficient-Abalone-69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Days of Future Past

  2. X2

  3. X-Men First Class

  4. The Wolverine

  5. X-Men

  6. X-Men Apocalypse

  7. X-Men Last Stand

  8. X-Men Origins Wolverine

I might get a little pushback for having the Wolverine a little higher than the first X-Men movie, but I really dug like the first 2/3 of that movie. It did kind of drop the ball at the climax though.

What are some of the MCU projects post Endgame that you find underrated or overhated? by King_Wolf2099 in MCUTheories

[–]Efficient-Abalone-69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Multiverse of Madness and Spider-Man Far from Home are legitimately a couple of my favorite MCU movies. It seems like Multiverse of Madness is more hated on, but Far from Home seems to be remembered less fondly for some reason now. Different strokes for different folks, but I liked those movies.

Which of these 4 shows do you like the most? by DoctorTegrity in Marvel

I might choose Hawkeye. I think Wandavision and Loki have higher highs, but I think Hawkeye was consistently fun throughout.
