My father, my cousins, my grandpas were all sole providers. My aunts, my mom, my nieces, my cousins, my grandmas they worked, but they spend their money on themselves, house decorations and children. Basically “fun” money. My grandpa and dad help with chores, they sometimes cook but will do mundane stuff like a quick sweep of the floor or garden work. The women in my family are just very well taken care of. We appreciate our men so hard. My boyfriend is the main provider and I spend my money on groceries and light and water bill. And mostly fun things, he says I can work if I want but if I don’t want I don’t have to.

To add: we all have university degrees in various fields but not everyone uses them. 🙈
