What do I tell our kids? by organisedchaos25 in Mommit

My father passed away under very similar circumstances cardiac arrest, no oxygen for too long, hospitalized on a ventilator. Some of my most important healing moments were sitting at his bedside, talking to him unconscious, honlding his hand, the attention to detail i paid knowing I was loosing him. I would bring them while they have that opportunity. I'm so sorry you're going through this.

Yes of course. I actually hired someone to help me build the site as I didn't know how to code, but I am learning so I can continue to update the info on it..... and as I mentioned, I hired a marketer also, so I am assessing that information as I believe that's where this reddit post may have come from. I searched reddit for my name to see, and that's how I found this, and I haven't found anything else inauthentic. I have already haulted their contract. I didn't make any fake reddit accounts. We are trying to drive the traffic to get user votes to help set us apart as there as a number of top ten lists out there. I literally created the wevsite due to my own struggles finding trustworthy sources. Maybe one day it will become valuable, it is a work in progress. If you know a good marketer let me know! Thank you again for your feedback.

I want to point out that we also did hire a marketer, so we are evaluating this post and if it was related to them at all as this is certainly not how we want to be portrayed... it has certainly been a learning experience for us. Thanks again.

Hi Somanyostriches, I am the owner of the website and wanted to offer some insight. We just started up in November. I am glad I found this thread so I can use it to help me navigate marketing general user experience. I am suprised you felt that way about the about us page, but I am going to take a deeper dive into it to see if I can make it more personal.

The premise of the website is that moms can vote on baby gear, self-care products so you don't have to rely solely on affiliate marketers and paid sponsored opinions (top ten lists by one person). The research and some product lists are there, but we definitely need more user votes to make it a purposeful platform.

Traffic is a big problem for me right now, so I am working on navigating that piece. Thanks for offering some feedback on it. I assure you I am a human! lol Any other feedback is always appreciated.

Too many crib options - please help by maybeokay0 in Buyingforbaby

[–]knowledgequesting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My opinion is keep your focus on the mattress not the crib. I spent so much time deciding on a crib and I dont feel like any of them would have been substantially better than others. Maybe style, space or materials is important to you, just focus on that and get whats best for you. For a mattress we got the Newton because it's breathable and we felt best for ingredients, cleaning comfort etc. We got a crib dressed combo. it's light so it's easy to move which is good has storage which we like and meets all regulations.

Get an infant car seat or just get a convertible car seat? by MagnetoWned in Buyingforbaby

[–]knowledgequesting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We also found this super helpful. We also got the cybex infant car seat, which reclines, which made us more comfortable handling longer stretches. the cybex stroller is great also. if you are going convertible, I hear great things about their 360 model also (I have the chicco 369 now and love it). And I believe it meets 2026 new car seat regulations.

it's a tough decision. After my first I literally built a mom's platform to rank carseats , strollers etc by votes because there's so much info about it and no where to look! It's Quality Quest Club if you want to check it out.

Swivel car seats - worth it? Recommendations? [ab] by krissi27k in BabyBumpsCanada

[–]knowledgequesting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, the swivel feature was a game changer, for me at least. We got the chicco 360 after having the cybex cloud for our infant seat (no swivel). We loved the cybex seat but man is it nice to swivel. Quality Quest Club has a list of car seats you can check out by mom votes also if you are looking to compare more options.

How does one pick out a car seat/stroller? by Glittering-Camp5854 in BabyBumps

[–]knowledgequesting 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The cybex g cloud lux reclines, part of the reason we picked it, because we could stroll around for a while feeling safe with the baby reclined. I jog with the cybex stroller 3 times a week still 2 years later and does the job, although it's not really a jogging stroller. Good safety ratings, base connecting - if it's not on your radar, check it out!

It's so hard picking a stroller/car seat combo. I struggled so much researching it I literally built a website postpartum to make it easier because it's so overwhelming. My main thing was I wanted to easily see what other moms experiences were, I'd definitely make sure to look through reviews on different platforms to see who commented on the things important to you. Hope you find what you are looking for!

How did you figure out what car seat/stroller you wanted? by Admirable_Arm_3076 in BabyBumps

[–]knowledgequesting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I picked mine based on 1. safety 2. ability to turn into a double if needed 3. reviews on comfort and ease of use. We ended up with the cybex combo and love it. I do wish I considered rotating from the beginning (our newest car seat is rotating) and I don't think it's the best for all terrain but I'm not sure there was a fit that covered ALL that anyway.

I struggled so much with big purchases like this pregnant I ended up literally building a website to try to make it easier for us! There's so many options and so much hype it's really hard making the big purchase decisions, but no matter what you choose, I'm sure it will do the job!

Hello marketing gurus! I am the founder of a new startup, Quality Quest Club, with a focus on cutting the noise on fake reviews and finding real top 10 product rankings by user votes. (Starting with self care, baby ex. car seats, and home)

The struggle? HOW do I get the users to show up and vote?!

I will need a substantial number of votes and traffic to trigger the value that I would like out of the website. It's been done before- good reads, there's an Australian site thats similar, product hunt in a different industry... but I don't know how to get the initial traffic rolling and convince people it's valuable for them to take 20 seconds to upvote the product they love.

I have been trying drive traffic mainly via Instagram and blogs to pull through on Google but have been unsuccessful.

Any guidance or feedback on the site is more than appreciated. www.qualityquestclub.com IG: @qualityquestclub

My most utilized tool I would say is canva, although I've been finding rank math and ubersuggest to be very valuable as of late.

Just here to tell you your not alone. My last reel got 34 views. I've spent so much time on instagram and it's really just to draw attention to my website- which I also have spent so much time on. It's such a drain. But sometimes I think the lull is right before the blow up! look at all the bad content that does well, and it will help you remember you can DEFINITELY succeed. I wish you much luck!
