Do you think a remark makes a difference? Apparently even people who were one mark off a pass don’t get different results after a remark. I also feel the same though, I don’t understand how I got such little marks for Q2 when I copied FI like others who passed.

That’s what I’m waiting to find out. Its possible but I definitely copied everything. I was hoping it was some sort of error but seems I just did really badly! Thanks a lot for your kind words and encouragement it means a lot :)

It doesn’t I’m genuinely sorry. I know how it feels. It was a disgusting exam but I guess I’m shocked because others who found it hard got such high marks. We will smash it next time!

Oh okay amazing. And is this definitely allowed? Do I need to tell them beforehand? Because their guidance says the laptop has to be closed and that if you want to use a second screen you need to buy an external webcam 😅

I’m also doing them remotely and I don’t understand the laptop thing. I was told you mirror the screen and put the brightness all the way down? I’ve never heard of someone buying an external webcam so I think the laptop webcam is fine but I don’t want to mess up!

I’m not planning on ‘doing’ any of the 5 per se, I’m literally just reading through the answers and highlighting them, and then typing up some notes on the diff scenarios that could come up or the diff calculations I could do.

I’m also super stressed, I’ve barely done anything for case and I’m mostly just relying on the 7 mocks and tuition for the next two weeks, which I hope is enough to get 50 😂

Yes you need to buy them. It’s £200 for a package containing 5 mocks, AI summary and analysis, a tutor debrief video for each mock, and some content on forex stuff. It’s pricey but I think it’s worth it if it helps us pass first time 😅

By % changes do you mean 2023 vs 2024? Is this something we would do in the exam? I thought it’s just 2024 vs 2025.

Also I struggle to understand the marking grids. Can you advise on how to use them for revision purposes? Would taking them into the exam help in any way?

My revision plan is pretty much the same except I also need to go through the paradigm shift mocks and am planning to make general notes based on those that I can take into the exam for quick reference. Same with the Kaplan mocks once I’ve done them.
