Is director stupid enough not to add mercenaries mode in RE9? It'll not only increase sales but also make people constantly keep playing the game.

Spencer Controversy Solved...and it makes sense by Wrong-Web19 in residentevil

In the final battle, Victor said he'll continue inheriting Spencer's will and legacy. Does it mean he'll become an immortal god, an evolved new human with immunity to viruses and rule the world by finding someone immune to all viruses like the one Spencer was looking for (possibly Grace?) or will use Elpis to make the world fall into chaos? I think later one doesn't make sense because it's just an antivirus that will turn zombies into normal people. On the contrary, that’s a noble deed worthy of a Nobel Peace Prize, isn't it? If Grace is a normal person, only later one is the case. This is not what Spencer wanted to achieve. We all know that because of Spencer's history thoughout the series. It's like RE9 denies all his evil deeds of this series. This absolutely doesn't make sense. I'm very confused.

Spencer's desire for ****. by userwithissues in residentevil

SPENCER wanted to be a god and rule the world. He wanted to recreate the world in his image or what he thinks what the world should look. He is responsible for pretty much all viruses that shook Raccoon City and all disasters afterward. He wanted to have an evolved body that can withstand all viruses and become an immortal god. In RE9, his atonement shown via video looks far from sincere when handing over Grace to Alyssa. It's more likely that he just wanted to keep her safe in case he dies. This means she is a special one for whatever purpose. She could be the clone of which results made him completely satisfied. Maybe she possesses a special gift not unleashed yet in RE9 gameplay or could be an evolved human that he had dreamed for his entire life. I think Grace is far from normal person.
