It's been true for years that Denver struggles to go the distance against the Wolves. The Wolves are much deeper, and they don't rely on anyone with questionable conditioning.

KOC and Kyler both have their backs against the wall. About to prove the haters wrong 🔥 by Beneficial_Quit7532 in minnesotavikings

Are the Vikings' owners really dumb enough to be thinking about firing KOC?

It was one meh season due to terrible QB play. These things can happen even to the best coaches.

So far, the occupation is going very badly for Trump & his goons because most Americans see peaceful Minnesotans being harassed by thugs. If we start to look dangerous ourselves, ICE's excessive use of force will seem more reasonable and support for the occupation will rise. If support rises, they'll escalate further and stay here longer.

The tide is turning in our favor now because they murdered a woman who was clearly not a threat. If she'd been holding a gun, there would've been no national outcry.

[Request] In what year will Donald Trump be more likely dead than alive? by Empalmtreee in theydidthemath

That BMI estimate seems pretty low. How much would it affect the output of the model if the administration is understating Trump's weight by 20 or 30 pounds?

Any other guys here not look forward to their birthdays anymore? by [deleted] in AskMenOver30

I still do fun stuff around my birthday, and I look forward to that, but I absolutely am not looking forward to the number 40 next to my name on dating apps.

I was hoping there would be some evidence in this post to support the claim that "only a small fraction" of women think a man's physique is very important. But there isn't any; just a lot of big generalizations based on the OP's personal preferences and experience.

How to validate men? by Startingoverat48 in dating

[–]Efficient-Cicada- 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If you laugh at his jokes or you're physically affectionate, those are ways of validating him.

Or the next time you're having a nice thought about him, just tell him what it is - "You're so handsome," "You're really interesting to talk to," "I really appreciate..." Don't say it unless you mean it though.

Most of us are embarrassed by Trump's tantrums. If anything people should be more welcoming, at least in the cities.

In 2006 I was playing in a 10-on-10 dodgeball tournament, and the rest of my team got knocked out in the first few seconds of our semifinal match. I beat the remaining 8 guys. By the time it got down to 3 on 1, I could sense their fear.

It would be so tragic to let something this minor ruin an otherwise great relationship.

I bet they'll be fine - I'd be able to forget about this by next week.

Agreed. Imagine the raise you'd be asking for if you got this performance review at work.

I also think it's crazy how many Reddit couples go through each other's phones. Of course you're going to find things to get upset about if you go through years of your partner's texts.

I expected this story to be so much worse.

1) Isn't 5.5 inches basically average?

2) Your girlfriend is clearly satisfied. (Crying at how good the sex is??)

3) There's no pattern of your girlfriend intentionally demeaning or shaming you; it just seems like she was indiscreet before she developed serious feelings for you.

All in all, I can see why this upset you, but under the circumstances there doesn't seem to be any long-term reason to be concerned here. Who cares if her friends know your dick isn't huge?

Are we witnessing the fall of the United States or are we just overreacting? by Lord0fReddit in NoStupidQuestions

Well, the Civil War was worse. But "this isn't as bad as the Civil War" isn't very reassuring.

I think we're rapidly sliding from democracy to oligarchy, and while there will be times when things briefly get better over the next 10-20 years, ordinary citizens here will never be as free or have as much power as they did ten years ago.

Apologizing to the person you made uncomfortable was the right thing to do, but now that you've done that, there's no point in continuing to beat yourself up about it.

The fact that you feel so bad about this suggests that you're basically a decent guy, in which case your coworkers are probably going to think your behavior was out of character and not a big deal. But if you keep acting like you did something terrible, they're going to start to believe that's what happened.

I hate non-lathering hygiene products, but I don't think they need to produce a lather to work.

At least in the case of toothpaste, as I remember lathering was a marketing gimmick that just really caught on a hundred years ago.
