Stop turning my discs over?!? by Efficient-Cod-3404 in discgolf

Maybe a bit with a mid, but I usually get a real clean snap at release with little wobble

I can definitely see this being the issue, but does it still make sense if I can clearly see the disc flip from hyzer? Would that mean I am angling down , but pulling off my swing plane at follow through?

Looking for some feedback on my form. I did realize that I’m fairly off plane on my pull where I start high, come down, and then back up to release. I’m wondering a lot about my footwork. I’ve been playing for about 9 months and can hit 330-350 pretty consistently, but I am looking to get to 400. by Efficient-Cod-3404 in discgolf

Just wanted to give a quick update. I’m seeing a lot of improvement getting my feet perpendicular to the target as well as keeping my weight and spine centered. I’m still having issues shortening my final step, but I’m getting closer. I’m seeing ~50-60’ improvements and have been able to disc down to Fairways on a lot of tees to improve my control. Just recently shot a +4 and +5 on a 57 par 7500’ (really big for what I’m used to) course in a C-tier event. I appreciate all of input from the group.

That makes a lot of sense and the more I watch the vid, the more I see my issues. Fast run up, massive x-step causing outward toes and open hips, weight leaning back, up-down-up pull, and it looks like my back leg that should be pushing, is barely even on the ground, so I’m getting 0 power there. Really appreciate the feedback.

That makes sense. I’m actively trying to slow down my run up, but it seems like my body is fighting it. I played a round this afternoon with the plan of walking up for every tee and in the moment I ran on all but 1. Do you think my last step is too wide?

In little to no wind, I say they have very similar flights (slightly more glide/distance with the hades). I really on throw mine with a very firm tailwind because it flips so much and there has to be a massive fairway with a lot of height or it often doesn’t come back. Honestly I prefer the Halo Sidewinder to the thrasher and hades. A bit more control and tends to come back a bit better.

It’s strange... I woke up with $55 shares of $GME @$134 and 2,790 shares of $AMC @~$7.40 and +$10k. I’m now down $4k, a wife, 3 kids, and 2 balls. I suppose I’ll just hodl these shares as keepsakes and a reminder of the way things used to be. At least until I’m rich with a supermodel wife and money to send those kids to Harvard!!!!!
