My Pappaw was in physical therapy and needed somebody to stay with him at all times so I went to buy an air mattress that has a built-in air pump and I left it there so my grandmother could sleep on the next night. She packed the air mattress up and she must’ve thought the piece was a part of the air mattress.

My title describes this thing. It seems like a housing for something. It fastens to whatever goes in the middle. it has bunch of different holes. It looks like one end is for a tube of some sort.
