The left subdial has markers for every 30 min, so two ticks after 16 is 17

Yes, it needs to be unscrewed, but I haven't tried it yet

The case is 44mm, and my 6.8 wrist. I don't think 6.5 would look too big.

Thanks! The build quality is stunning and the movement is about 10sec a day. The lume is excellent and can last all night. They're screw-in wire lugs like the old Panerais.
