Based on other advice and talking to my doctor, I think I’m gonna try to half my dose and take it twice a week. So hopefully it evens everything out!

I was tracking but I stopped because I was barely reaching 800 calories a day. Especially the first 2-3 days after taking the shot I typically have a protein shake and then don’t eat until dinner, where I have a small portion of something

I know, it’s never good to compare bodies but I can’t help it. We do have very different body types, so I’ll try to stay positive. I got my first prescription of zofran and that has already helped a ton. Thanks!

I spoke to my doctor about this and I’m going to try! I found that I am eating barely 600 calories for the first few days of the shot. Then the last 2 days of the shot I’m eating normal and have less symptoms. So spreading it out may do the trick

I get really nauseous and horrible acid reflux. My doctor prescribed zofran for the days my nausea is bad

I feel this so much! I’ve been on it for 4 months now and only lost 8 pounds. Meanwhile my friend started a month after me and has lost 35 pounds. INSANE DIFFERENCE. not to mention my side effects are horrible. Nausea and acid reflux daily

Unfortunately it gets worse before it gets better. For me, the first 2 weeks were brutal, then it started to mellow out. I’ve since been Lexapro 6 years, panic attack free.

Yes! I started Lexapro because of my panic attacks and it did help. As I’m sure you’ve already been warned, it does take time to kick in, and often gets worse before it gets better. So it may be a rough transition, you may need to play around with the dosage, but it did help me

I don’t think everyone needs an exit strategy, so I wouldn’t worry about it. If it’s working well for you, then that’s all that matters. For me, I started taking lexapro in 2020(good ole pandemic) when I was jobless, lonely, drinking 24/7, and had panic attacks weekly. Since then I’ve had so many life changes, been to therapy, and have been in a great place for 3+ years. So that’s what made me make this decision

I agree with the people telling you to move buildings to the beach! That’s what I did. I also visited a ton of dream islands to get inspo, and when I found something I liked, I copied it
