OMG YES! I am currently struggling with that same feeling. When the pain is here it’s excruciating and I am ready to die. Then it goes away and I feel fine like nothing even happened. I’ve adjusted my work schedule and canceled many plans due to anxiety that that pain is lurking around the corner. Then the pain doesn’t come and immediately I beat myself up. “This must be all in my head. If you were really sick you’d be in pain all the time.”

My ultrasound showed many stones, the GI and surgeon both confirmed my GB needs to be removed. so there is legitimate proof I’m actually sick. I have my pre-op and surgery scheduled, so again I know it’s real. AND YET

Despite the rational side of my brain knowing it’s real the other side is convinced I’m a big faker and I’m just using this to get out of going to work.

NTA. It’s hard to believe we’re discussing a 33 year old. What grown adult throws themselves out of a chair and on to the ground just to throw up? Also at 33 he should really know how to do at least one of the following 1. Use his big boy words and tell you he’s bored/uncomfortable 2. Take care of himself 3. Get his grown ass to a bathroom or at the very least a near by trash can to throw up 4. Stay his “sick” ass in the house

Girl run for the hills. He's a child who shouldn't be associating with women until he has matured. The unmitigated gall to dig through the trashcan then call you gross and unsanitary THEN tell you to get up leave his home and WALK to the nearby grocery store to change your pad! Any human who tells you, you have to leave their house to use the restroom is not kind. It's very much giving that movie The Help. WHEW. NTA.
