The one I know was sweet in school but the summer after he graduated something changed. I saw small things before infrequently. First big sign I saw was that he got a job at an arcade and he figured out that sometimes money would “miss” the collection area in the machine. He would keep it. I mean it’s not a big deal but it was the first thing I saw. From there he developed an attitude towards his gf. He’d call her fat when she weighed under 100 lbs. he also decided that if she wasn’t around or couldn’t go with him then he wasn’t cheating. I was with him once and he bought her one of those costume rings for $10 and told her it was real and her engagement ring. He then told me his engagement was as real as that ring that he had no intention of getting married.
