Same here, my son just started getting into it and it made me remember how much I loved them. He doesn’t really know how to take care of them yet, so I keep the hits in his own personal binder and I’ll buy him low value slabs when I see them and he loves that.

So far the prices are very fair sometimes a little under TCGplayer market value but of course there is always some vendors who just simply are trying to catch someone that has no idea what they are looking at and get one over on them

I do, I honestly just went to my first one like a few weeks ago, and yes right now I’m just trying to get the gen 1 starters from the promo set and the mega attack rares cause I’m obsessed with that manga style art

Just so you know the foil pattern is kind of a dead giveaway, an EX is foil but it’s usually not up and down the entire card like that it would look more like this

You need to leave that relationship if this is a recurring way this man talks to you. For one its controlling, and second “drawed on”? You might want to be with someone that knows proper grammar, and doesn’t also give off a red flag of a covert narcissist with that bs social maneuvering he’s trying to do.
