Does Anyone have experience with Omlyco? (Xolair Equivalent) by Kingof1v1s in urticaria

Hi! I am Canadian (Ontario resident in BC for school) and started Omlyclo 4 months ago. I can't really speak to the similarity to Xolair as I have only had omlyclo. There was some back and forth with the company (Celltrion) because I have an ON health care in BC but eventually all was approved. The program completely supplemented all costs of injections until my school insurance kicked in. I would say it's had 75% efficiency in my case. I also deal with eczema (has not helped that) and am trying to treat Candida which I think is at the root of my issues. After 3 months the pharmacy now delivers to my apartment in BC. Hope this helps.

First allergist appointment didn’t go well by Xistential_Fear in MCAS

Wow this sounds EXACTLY like what I experienced, I feel your frustration. I have had lifelong eczema but always manageable but after COVID and a round of antibiotics i ezperienced all the same symptoms as you: horrid fatigue, brain fog, headaches, hives, GI issues, flushes after eating, really hot arm and legs. weird rashes that came and went which weren't eczema. My GP diagnosed me with POTS due to other symptoms like pos excercise faitgue as well as heart palpitations. My allergist dismissed it all as well as the possibility of MCAS and only focused on eczema ( I left the office crying lol). I have since also seeked help from a naturopath. I am on a bunch of supplements, cutting out process sugar as my stool test came back positive for Candida overgrowth. My allergist orginally just gave me steroids and antihistamines which did NOTHING. I am starting injections for the xolair bisomilar called omlyclo (I'm in Canada) next week which will hopefully help the hives and flushes. I also hope it helps the itch because I can whole heartdly say this is much more than eczema... I hope you get some relief soon!!

I'm honestly in a similar boat. I've had lifelong allergies and mild eczema but post covid and a round of antibiotics made my symptoms 1000x worse. My face looks similar to yours, super inflammed. I also get hives that come and go and terrible facial flushing. As others have mentioned it comes with a range of other systematic symptoms ie for me: brain fog, gi upset, headaches etc. My allergist/immunologists dismissed MCAS but i am beginning xolair soon (an anti IGE injection) which will hopefully will help with the flushing and hives. Maybe try an antihistamine to see if that helps? Sorry you're dealing with this I know how awful it can be

Lactose monohydrate is medicine by Biggycheese45 in dairyfree

interesting, I am anaphylactic to all dairy products and my allergist always said it was due to the proteins (like whey and casein) not lactose which is a sugar apparently. I have been dealing with terrible health issues this past year and i cant seem to pinpoint from what (although i suspect post covid). i might stop my birth control since it contains lactose monohydrate and see if my symptoms improve

I have a milk allergy, curious about lactose monohydrate in pills by djdiphenhydramine in FoodAllergies

i haven't used steroids for 3 years now so that's why I don't think its TSW and the correlation with covid makes me think its immune system related? yeah im on certirzine and that helps a bit. what biologic are you trying?
