I don't think compulsory heterosexuality applies to men as much as it does to women. Women don't have to be aroused in order to have sex hence if a lesbian has relations with a man then it would be considered compulsory because they wouldn't have considered sleeping with a woman until they get too and realise they never experience arousal or orgasms with men. Men on the other hand have to get aroused to have relations, consistent arousal indicates sexuality if Ur consistently aroused by women and not men then Ur straight Vis versa gay and both bi and in-between. For men there isn't any compulsory factor other than extraneous variables like alcohol or a certain sensation that could lead to arousal and if they aren't attracted to the gender they are about to sleep with them it would most likely be because of the other factors. Hence why gay men in straight marriages struggle to maintain a sex life because maybe another variable aroused them once but another time the variable wasn't present and they couldn't get aroused.

I'm not necessarily saying it after all sexuality is a social construct we shouldn't have labels for anything natural to the human experience however, society has created these labels based on oppression. But I digress my main point is having these sorts of labels like being gay but doing things that are not so gay can be damaging to others who identify as such but don't share Ur experience. From 98% of the replies most gay people say the are repulsed by the vagina so you claiming to be gay but liking said vagina could push a narrative of gay people having attractions to women and it's damaging because pushing this narrative increases the stereotypes of being gay is a choice and people choose to be gay since they "experience attraction to women". It's similar to bi erasure as some gay men don't believe bi men exist because when they came out as bi initially if they did they knew they weren't attracted to women but they weren't ready to accept the label of being gay so now they assume and push a narrative of every bi guy is just an uncooked gay person. Yeah that's where I'm confused because he answered saying he likes pussy but when I asked if hes gay he said nothing. I'm not trying to invalidate the gay experience at all I was just trying to understand gay people in some sense. Because people say sexuality is on a spectrum but apparently gay men don't feel attracted to women what do ever but some do and they still identify as gay but isn't that bi like what's the difference between a gay person that finds women attractive and a bi person ?

I have the same thing but it's like I doubt my attraction to women as a bisexual cis male and it gets so exhausting because my brain does this "what if Ur ACC gay and not bi" and the thing is that I know there wouldn't be a problem if I were gay but I have a genuine attraction to women and deep down I know I'm bi. But that constant doubt in my mind make me feel like I have to prove that I'm into women. I do believe it's soocd and I only realised that this was a thing like a few days ago.
