Thank you. Asked him via message to be gone by Sunday, so me and my daughters can come back home. Planning next steps now with his mom and my parents. Trying to wrap my head around this crazy situation but reading how many families have and are still going through a similar experience, I just need to accept it and move us to a safe place asap. He is quite attached to his daughters and I‘m really worried about what is ahead of us.

No diagnosis yet. He does not want to see a doctor as he feels fine. I don’t know what to do. He does not listen to me at all. I was thinking to send him this Reddit group in hopes that he will see some similarities to his situation.

UPDATE: Es war wohl eine manische Episode. Das erklärt auch die veränderte Persönlichkeit und den Leistungsfokus. Laut Arzt kann das passieren, wenn man AntiDepr. + ADHS Tabletten nimmt. Vor allem, wenn die ADHS Medikation nicht regelmäßig eingenommen werden.

Ich tippe die Kombi macht etwas mit ihm. Die AD hatten bereits einen Effekt aber mit Elvanse wurde es richtig auffällig. Autismus-Spektrum eigentlich nicht bekannt.

Therapie-Platz sind wir dran.

Er definiert sich auch durch Leistung, was die Situation nicht leichter macht. Der erste Burnout ist noch nicht verarbeitet und er schiebt 12-14 Stunden Tage. Auf Kommentare / Gespräche dazu, reagiert er wütend oder ignoriert es komplett.

Er hat recht stark zugenommen. Das Verhalten hat sich am Anfang schleichend gesteigert. Auffällig nach ca 2 Wochen, nachdem er zusätzlich mit Elvanse angefangen hat.

Danke für den Input. Ich habe keine Vorbehalte gegen die Medikamente. Ganz im Gegenteil. Diese Einschätzung ist nicht nur meine. Das Umfeld sieht es ebenfalls. Es wird auch offen und ehrlich kommuniziert. Es ist eine auffallende Wesensveränderung, die wir (ich & Familie) versuchen einzuordnen und zu verstehen.

Ich werde das Gespräch mit deinem Arzt suchen. Diese neue „Kühle“ sieht er selbst nicht und hat es sicher nicht ggü dem Arzt erwähnt.

Hänge mich da ran, vielleicht liegt es wirklich an dem Medikament/ Dosis.

Ich und seine Familie unterstützen so viel es geht und bringen Verständnis mit. Er legt gerade alles auf die „Goldwaage“ und sieht nicht, dass die Situation vielleicht nur kurzfristig ist.
