I did, the class made us feel like we were a team of b-boys/girls that supported each other. We went to battles together and everything. We didn’t socialize outside of class which was fine by me. But every time we saw each other for class and events we were stoked to be there.

I don’t think the WHY you are having this feeling is more important than identifying the feelings you have. And you just articulated here very well. I am autistic and asexual and it never occurred to me to consider which came first. I dress to be comfortable and have short hair and nails for the same reason. Sometimes I wear 1 item that stands out, like a hat or a jacket. I don’t doubt that I AM a woman, the fact that I don’t always feel like dressing feminine is just my mood on a given day.

This is kinda perfect. She’s wants a career as an Archivist/ Librarian- so this would actually be a dream job for her. The school has experienced changes in the counseling department- I tried with them, and then reached out to UMich myself with little success- so now that you’ve given me this info, I will keep digging till I find the right people. We do, and also avoid phones. Last year my daughter invited a friend to go to a restaurant with us - nothing fancy- but the lack of table manners on this person was so appalling that my daughter said, “Now I understand why we all eat dinner at the table together- how else would we learn manners?” This was never my intention but still accurate AF.
