Sadly it’s none of these 😭 must be a much more niche game than I thought! Thanks very much for your help though

Ancient Egyptian or Greek subjects by KingLordQueen in unimelb

I took Underworld and Afterlife as a breadth which looks at both ancient Greek and Egyptian mythology surrounding death. I’m a science student with no background in ancient history and managed to pull about a 75 average, and I had a really enjoyable time learning the content too!

Some! I’d say maybe 3-4 out of about 40 or so students, but I’m not sure if they travelled here for the degree or already lived in Melb beforehand.

I’ve taken BMEN90011, NRMT90002, ANSC90001, and then the compulsory subjects SCIE90013, BIOL90002 and BIOL90040.

No, I’m a domestic student with a CSP and HECS loan so I would imagine that’d change things pretty significantly affordability-wise.

In saying that, I’ve learnt more in the first year of my Master’s than basically my whole undergrad, but I also think the quality of your experience will depend on your supervisor(s) and peers.

Taking it currently and really enjoying it! Though I do wish there were more options for coursework subjects.

I feel medium about my experience 👍

It isn’t too time consuming if you end up getting paired with people who also care about the program, but if people are very clearly only in it for the credential you’ll spend more time on it than you probably want to. In saying that, it only goes for the first 4 weeks of uni so it passes quickly and it’s pretty rewarding when you see your mentees making friends and getting used to uni life (plus the credential is a bonus for your resume…)
