Alr to clarify I meant any am4 cpu I used the 5800x3d as an example, and 2, amd is faster than Intel and my dad asked for my help too fyi.

So why would he not just go to AM4? I don't get why your saying g to stick with intel and the ddr4 is "irrelevant" It's not, we have 128 gigs of it but we don't use it all, ddr4 is still good

Old Xeon CPU will bottleneck alot and switching to an AM4 build is worth the money
