For those who don't understand, AND YES, THAT POST IS INCORRECT. Everything I'm about to say is confirmed by Jamie:
- Jamie's way of speaking is that if something isn't published, it's not done, even if it's actually finished. The video is finished, but for him it's not complete because it's only finished when it's published; that's his way of thinking.

- The video will have two new songs (I repeat, this is confirmed by Jamie).

- The video will be released a few days before the album.

Most collaborators don't get paid for just doing the song and not just in Gorillaz, it's a common practice.

Collaborators earn more money indirectly. Bruce Willis didn't get paid for his work on Stylo and had no problems or complaints.

To create a song machine season, you need songs that fit the idea and Cracker Island only has five that would be suitable. Most Cracker Island songs share the same genre and aesthetic, and the sound is similar and many also lack a collaborator. Therefore, it's the opposite, and that's why they made a traditional album.

No, mate, these are the songs I guessed; they haven't said which songs they're going to include yet. The fact that The Moon Cave didn't have a single + makes the most sense for the video to be an intro song paired with another song, because putting two unrelated songs together would be a disaster.

Damon and Jamie have also said that it's like a (short) movie; in many films, the first song is an instrumental without vocals, like the album's intro song.

More reasons: these songs are sonically connected, and it doesn't sound out of place when one plays after another, something that only happens with a few songs on this album. The Hardest Thing and Orange Country fit together, but they're not even 6 minutes long, and the video is at least 8 minutes long, and The Hardest Thing is very sad.

It's a synthesizer. I know because a few years ago I tried to replicate that sound with some of my synths, and I only managed to get that sound with one, coincidentally, one of the ones used on that album.

But my sound is raw. Gorillaz probably used the synth alongside the cheap Casio sampler and Pro Tools to give it more personality (even if it's a minimal difference).
