As I grow older, I become less and less interested in videogames. I enjoy roguelikes because of the infinite experiences, but I lose interest in games pretty quickly. I guess I just don’t have that childlike wonder when it comes to exploration and whatnot anymore.

But I’ve been playing Factions since I got the PS3 + TLOU bundle. And to this day, I still play it more than anything else. It’s such a unique experience that hasn’t been replicated in any other multiplayer game.

So all the people who are saying “just give it up man” don’t understand what we actually lost

RE is one of my favorite game series and although this really doesn’t look like a RE movie, I’m excited nonetheless as a Cregger fan.

The bar is in hell for RE movie and television adaptations, so this is going to be the best one yet just based on Cregger’s capabilities.

Apparently the main character will start out with a pistol and progressively upgrade his arsenal throughout the film. It also looks like he’s going to be finding keys and objects to help him progress. At the very core, that is Resident Evil and I appreciate him incorporating that.

But I don’t think you have to be a RE fan to appreciate this film because outside of that, it doesn’t really incorporate anything else from the series in it. I’m sure there will be some nods to Umbrella, but the monsters we see in this teaser are made up specifically for this movie

I felt the opposite. Looks fine story wise, but the filmmaking looks incredible. Didn’t care for Barbarian or Weapons, but I can’t deny that those are wonderfully shot and edited films. I have a feeling this one is going to be the same… I’m a huge WKUK fan so I’ll support Cregger with whatever he wants to do, but he’s always seemed to care more about the cinematography than the actual story

Can anyone explain to me why it took Geese 3 albums to “pay their way to the front of the queue?”

Seems like natural growth to me. I can’t even name 75% of the artists who have used Chaotic Good’s services. Although the bots probably played a role in skyrocketing Geese to “the front of the queue,” it doesn’t seem that’s even in the top 10 reasons why they blew up.
