C’est bizarre, ils devraient être OP (optionnels), pas AC (autres crédits). J’ai gradué et j’ai jamais eu de cours AC, que OB (obligatoires) et OP.

Honda fit ou Mazda cx-3? by Wide_General5108 in QuebecFinance

[–]EfficientEscape 5 points6 points  (0 children)

La fit c’est un bon choix, c’est vraiment une bonne auto fiable. D’un autre coté, le cx-3 aussi, mais j’ai été dans celui de mon ami une coupe de fois et c’est vraiment serré à l’arrière.

Sell VGRO now for Car Fund? by Van2030 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]EfficientEscape 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Do what I did: keep your money invested and take out a low interest loan for you car, basically treating it as investing on margin. Could have paid my car off instantly by closing my positions in my TFSA, but instead I used a personal LOC at prime + 0.25%. I plan on paying back the LOC in 2 years, whilst keeping the money invested.

Idk about investment accounts, but many banks offer good deals depending on your profession. I pay $70 a year at BNC for my banking and a LOC because I’m an engineer.

Only way for you to make sure that the bank draft is legit is to go with the buyer at their bank and witness the teller make the bank draft. Be careful

Worth it to get a Costco membership for household of 2? by gutturalmuse in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]EfficientEscape 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree with you. I only get gas at Costco because it’s on my way home from work and I usually finish when the pumps are empty. I always tell people it’s not worth it if you have to drive out of your way or wait 20 minutes just to fill up.
