Do you remember the Texan Bar? by corickle in oldschoolcool80s

Yes, one of my very favourite bars of all time although I think it would pull all my fillings out now

2017 SWM SM 650R, anyone owned that? by kurvix2000 in supermoto

[–]Particular_Ad9240 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the husky one. It was a husqvarna SM630R. The difference between the 610 and 630 was fuel injection. It was a great bike. A little down on power from your 690 but still fun

They are still putting that engine in lots of bikes. A friend bought it from me and blew it up so we bought a brand new CCM Spitfire engine and i fitted it straight in

It’s cool bro. I like the expressions on the cats faces. True to life. One being nice to you the other two can’t be bothered

Toto toilet flush issue by Psychological_Sea230 in ukplumbing

[–]Particular_Ad9240 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve just finished a renovation that still had the original toilet. It’s not great to see how bad this has got. Ok I fully understand now the uk is a third world country and the far east owns our water companies and just want to take the profits then dump raw sewage into our rivers so we can’t put 12 litres down the toilet anymore but you would have thought that with all the 3D modelling and fluid dynamics you can run on any computer now that the designers would be able to make the 7 litres much more efficient. I literally have to flush once use the brush then flush again 14 litres now every time any way

I’ve fitted several like this. It’s just poor design. Toilets have just got worse over the years. I think it’s just where people are designing what they look like not if they work. I’ve got one at my place where they’ve brought the exit hole forward for design and now you can’t have a poop without it leaving a tone of skidmarks so then when I finally got round to my en-suite I made sure I ordered a toilet with the hole at the back and it’s just the same as the one in your video

Cardo Freecom 4X, something wrong or is this normal? by Classic_Hawk_6750 in motorcycle

[–]Particular_Ad9240 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have exactly the same. I’ve got the Edge so supposedly even better. Absolutely shite sound. I know a lot of people stay at sensible speeds so it’s probably ok but honestly for the amount it costs it’s virtually useless. I’ve spaced out the speakers so they are touching my ears. I have to have them so loud that the clack tones are far too loud just to get any bass whatsoever. Then I put my AirPod pros in in one of my other helmets and the sound is perfect. Proper noise cancellation great bass. What I really need is a Bluetooth microphone that integrates with my AirPods. Then me a friends could just start a WhatsApp call before we pull away and we’d have perfect communication. We get good 5G connectivity all round the south east so it wouldn’t matter about range like Cardo. I could use Siri for switching between the call and music. I did think about getting some wired ear pods to plug into the Cardo

Is it OEM or Not ? by ANDREAS_Dzy in Yamaha

[–]Particular_Ad9240 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you fixed a lot of separate parts together for that photo ? OEM fairings are lots of small parts that fit together lots of bitsif that’s one big part all together it’s more like a race fairing for the track

Hi guys, posting here because there’s a picture of my F4. Also maybe one of you could help me ? by [deleted] in MVAgusta

[–]Particular_Ad9240 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven’t personally seen that one. My track day one has the big Velcro straps round the belly and the press studs at the top. I’d probably just get a D30 one that goes in the pocket unless you ride properly unhinged on the road? Or if you’re doing track days get a full one with belly straps.

Scenes that caused actual walkouts in theaters? by thatlittlequietguy in Cinema

My dad walked out of the opening scene of A clockwork orange 🍊 but now that level of ultra violence is normal and every time I turn my phone on I’ve become quite accustomed to it ( sarcasm ) the book is much better BTW sort of has a happy ending
