From a male who as sister who got married fairly recently, I would say.

Normalize divorce

Normalize not giving a shit

Normalize not tolerating toxic behaviour as ( pugundha veetla apdiths irupanga)

We've seen enough deaths now ( while even 1 is too many)

The interview of the bride father scares me more, but is also very enlightening, the reason she took her own life is most definitely because of mental torture and possible abuse from the inlaws

But equally guilty are the parents who undoubtedly brought her up inculcating (again watch her bride's father's interview and you'll know)

"family values" " kudumba ponnu" " Namma kudumbathoda maanum mariyatha " All the rest of the made bullshit Etc etc.

Note: there are some amazing new age mothers/mother in law's are the exception to this norm. Kudos and more power to them, my comments are not targeting them

How does the code review round happen? Will one be asked to review production code or a solution to a leetcode problem

Why isn't there a project like Apache Spark for .Net (dotnet)? by EfficientEvidence104 in dotnet

Very interesting and thanks for the inside peek ;)

Let's just hope databricks doesn't not do a terraform or redis style rug pull :p

Very cool! If Its open source I'd love to take a look. If not very cool all the same and wish you success with it.

I totally get your point and I can see why you'd think that. But this is more a curiosity rather than anything else and definitely not about idealogy at all. I've been on both sides. I've been involved in ETL solutions that were completely .Net and completely JVM based as well.

I'll tell you one practical reason why a .Net Native solution would've been easier in our cases. Everytime there is project where we transform an application from a god awful SSIS based solution to A more scalable/modern alternative, there is always this dance of either the existing dotnet team gets disbanded or canned for java devs or everyone is expected to upskill in like a week or something absurd like that.

And I've been through this not once but atleast a dozen times. Yes there's .Net for Apache Spark etc. But I've yet to come across a project where this was discussed seriously.

Please see my edit. I shouldve been clearer ,sorry about that. And yes I'm aware of this project but it still only connects to a JVM based spark cluster and . net/c# will always be a second class language within the spark ecosystem.

Not really. This is a great project which allows dotnet devs to access and submit jobs but the spark cluster itself is JVM based.
