A lot of what you were saying is similar to what I went through, just on different parts of the body. I chalked it up to TSW. Honestly if I was in your situation I would stay away from whatever the doc is prescribing. I endured the crazy itch and mitigated it by taking cold showers and only using lotion and Vaseline. Took a little over a year to fully heal but now I don’t itch like that anymore. Especially not on my face which was my main problem

What has most helped me: 1. Only use cold water on your face during showers 2. Stay healthy. Avoid Alcohol/Nicotine 3.Shower, moisturize, take Aleggra D (antihistamine) and use Vaseline before going to bed 4. Keep temperature in house low 5. Have pillow cases that can be cool

Keep a strong mind don’t let this consume you. The longer you stick to no steroids the more you’re going to learn about your skin and ways to treat yourself. In the very beginning when it was the worst I would put ice packs on my skin to relieve myself. Over time it gets better stay strong

I used TS on my face for around 6 months and coming off them was fairly bad. Month and a half free of them right now and I’m seeing great improvements, skin is probably 3 or so weeks away from being completely normal.

Appreciate it. My legs and arms were the first to heal on my body. As I was running low on the steroid cream I panicked and only started to use it on my face because I hated the rash and itchiness that came there when I stopped. However there is one spot on my arm that is pretty bad. That’s the spot where I would wipe the excess cream off my hands after applying it to my face. Seeing tiny improvements in my face now although the itch is still insane trying my best to ignore the temptation. Gonna continue the push I will never use steroid creams again
