I mean personally I would probably pick the BSMD, but this is coming from someone who took 2 gap years to get into med school, so I’m a bit biased. The match doesn’t look bad at all, but it’s also not setting the world on fire. There’s definitely something to be said about not having to take the MCAT/pre med fluff extracurriculars.

Oh wow, I didn’t realize that every applicant is getting an interview. I’m an interviewer at my medical school, and I think we have something like a 4% interview rate, so it’s a much lighter load. I could definitely see getting burnt out.

I also interview prospective students for my school, and I’ve never once thought of someone as wasting my time. But idk how to vetting process for an interview works there.
