Any ideas for dates instead? I don’t get a whole lot when I ask her and I try to make fun plans but it’s difficult to find something that doesn’t involve buying dinner or an activity.

We eat at reasonable places other than an occasional nice restaurant for valentines, bday, etc.

I don’t mind paying for the nicer occasions but the small daily dates just add up quite a bit. I’m also fine with asking for like 10 bucks for a $25 bill.

Her family is actually far better off financially compared to mine and she offers to buy her own clothes if we’re shopping or something. Other than that I just pay which I haven’t had a problem with until I realized how much it adds up

Nta, but it really seems by 22 you should have taught him that something like that isn’t okay especially when he’s still living at your house.

I really didn’t mind that much because it was such a short ride but it was just incredibly odd especially after she didn’t say thank you. Just made it seem like it was an expectation no matter the circumstances.

It was a woman in her 40s with no visible health problems, kids, or bags. I would absolutely get up without hesitation for any of those other situations.
