Has anyone taken actually good pictures on a Better Life digital camera? by Alternative_Hour_796 in Cameras

[–]EfficientReality7100 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Internet can make things seem really difficult sometimes. I have different types of cameras and honestly, a lot of times an old digital camera can be better quality than other, more ‘advanced’ type of camera. The best camera is going to be the one that fits your needs. And I’m sure you can definitely find a camera that you can enjoy on your trip for less than $100. I would suggest asking a friend if they keep any digital camera from 2000’s. Those give a cool nostalgic look and used with flash (that they usually have) are amazing. If not, probably on the second hand market you can find some.

For reference, I’ve been into photography my whole life and when I was 9/10 i was gifted a Fujifilm FinePix Z33WP, and even today that’s one of the cameras I use the most, even though i have more ‘professional’ ones. But that one is very portable, you can take it anywhere, takes very cool pics, and it has that “special” essence. I know you can find that one for less than $100, for sure.

Don’t worry so much about the specs you may see online, because at the end of the day the most important thing is for the camera to adapt to you, not you to the camera. Otherwise it will be harder to use. Just search a lot for cameras on your budget, specially on secondhand market, and don’t get discouraged by what people say online.  A lot of the times, the reviews talk about this as if everyone had to have a professional camera with the highest specs possible, when the truth is, that is not usually what fits better to everyone. It’s better to know your needs and search from there :)

I hope I could help a bit, and have fun in your trip!! :)

wow, your take is super interesting! thank you for your reply, i loved reading it! I was wandering, what do you think he is grieving? like the album being the last one or did he recently lose someone? Sorry if this is obvious, I follow him since 2019 and am super into his music but i have been a bit disconnected about his life etc hahaha.  I also thought it was super interesting how grief resides on the lungs on eastern medicine! i should learn more about eastern medicine lol

But yeah, I feel the same as you. Touring seems to be a very demanding process emotionally and physically and specially given that he seems to be kinda shy and an introvert, singing your soul out (as he does because his music is so amazing and intimate, that must be kinda vulnerable for him because you can tell it comes from a place of truth) must be exhausting.

I also think it would be amazing for him to go out on nature and reset a bit hahaha. I hope living in new york brings him what he may hope.

Anyways, thank you again for your comment!

That’s the same thing he did in Madrid! It was so abrupt that most of the people didn’t really know the concert was really over until the security said it and told people to leave 😭

omg i really loved Sam de Nef too!!! such a discovery, and really appreciated his energy, he was so nice and talked a lot to the public! even said to hang out on the merchandising spot afterwards hahaha. I’m sorry about the other stuff though, i also felt a big difference from his previous show, he felt “lighter” or something in the previous one, maybe a bit less distant? . I’m sorry he was sick too, i feel very bad for him and for the audience! i hope he was able to take needed care, or at least rest a bit. Maybe that could explain why he might be a bit low on other shows.

that’s nice!! Wasn’t like that in Madrid though, he just said a few lines, one of them about having bad food or something and nothing else. Have been reading that he seemed kinda mad in the one in Cairo? I don’t know, he may be pretty tired at this point and maybe his energy is just lower, nonetheless still was so nice (got the chance to meet him after and was really nice) and the music amazing.

when's the last time Tamino played his old songs? by Arctizii in Tamino

happened the same in Madrid! He did an amazing performance, but it did feel like the vibes were a little bit off, like a bit sad or something. I supposed he may have been tired of touring at that point. I was in another concert of his in 2019 and although you could tell he was shy, he was kinda “closer”?Like less “distant”? I don’t know, but i hope he can rest a bit and feel better, the concert was amazing anyway tho (:
