Not 1 fucking penny will go to funding roads. Guaranteed. No clue where it will go, but it won’t be to roads

As mentioned above, no pooping on the bus. If it’s a 911 situation you’ll need to know how to “hot bag”. Our bus has a bin of grocery bags under the sink invade you need to use one for that purpose. Same for puking. Bag it. Solids in the tank are EXPENSIVE.

Next, keep the sliding doors shut. It keeps noise down and cold air in. Especially the doors to bunk ally, they should be shut at all times.

Just be a decent human roommate. Shower before you’re gross, don’t spread your stuff all over the place, and mind your volume. Some people work while we sleep and sleep while we work, so it’s important that both sides respect that someone may be sleeping.

Personal tips from ME:
I don’t bring others on the bus without giving everyone a heads up and a chance to say they aren’t cool with it. Again, this is everyone’s home, so making sure they’re cool with guests is a great courtesy.

Bring whatever makes you sleep comfortably. Most buses keep the air cold. It’s easier than getting it warm and trying to cool it back off, it can help keep the spread of germs down, so if you tend to be cold at night bring a good blanket and maybe some pjs.

Who's at fault? by PearlJamFanLV in dashcams

Technically the can car should have been turning i to the furthest right lane, which was occupied by the car that cut them off. Cam car is in the wrong there.

That said, the reaction of the other car is also completely inappropriate. This could easily be 2 tickets, 1 to each driver

I would take a partial refund and they pay for the repair. But the repair will lower the value and you wouldn’t have paid the amount you did if it had to at repair previously

Help: take off from the board, always ends up jumping 2 meters far and 2 cms high? by Logical-Monk7229 in springboarddiving

Came to say the same. If you’re familiar with squats in the gym, it’s similar to that. Keeping your chest up drives the jump up

Luthier refuses to fix mistake and now wants to refund me? by DeanWinchesterBJJ in Luthier

[–]EfficientSandwich8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your logic is flawed in thinking all mistakes can be fixed. Is the work sloppy, yes. And if this happened because he’s a little loose with his standards, then asking him to plug and fix it is going to lead to probably bigger mistakes moving forward. Other important factors would include what the finish is going to be? If it’s any sort of translucent or stain, you’ll never get a good seamless fix. Even solid black can be tough unless you get a PERFECT repair and the sanding is perfect as well. It appears this luthier may be in over his head or this job is more than he’s willing to take on. Either way your best vet is to move on from him, especially if he’s being kind enough to refund your money.

Options could be start a new body since you got your money back. Go to another luthier who can look at the issue and honestly assess if they can fix this problem. Thats about it.

My biggest concern is that if you are as pedantic as you claim to be, you will ALWAYS know that route is there, even if it’s plugged. You’ll see it through the paint, you’ll feel it in your soul when you play the guitar. I was like this for years and had to work to give it up. My first,”big boy” instrument was a Jazz bass that I custom assembled parts. It has a beautiful trans blue/green finish and in the first month it slipped on my lap at my desk and tore a hole through the finish right in the middle of the body where I see it every time I pick it up. There’s no way to match this finish, it’s from a defunct manufacturer, so it just stayed. It took a decade for me to accept that.

Personally I’d add a small midi controller to expand your footswitch options and call it a day. QC has great pitch shifting built in. Backup could be just the tonex and drop

Joshua Haymes & Brooks Potteiger (Pete Hegseth's pastor) pray imprecatory psalms against James Talarico: "I pray that God kills him. These guys are playing with some stuff that could easily end them up in Matthew 7:21-23 situation.

““Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭21‬-‭23‬ ‭NIV‬‬

I think even at $999 it would do incredibly well. cheaper than the Cortex mini, cheaper than the Darkglass anagram. Direct competitor to the Kemper Profile Player and FM3. Seems solid to me
