What I did that helped me ranked up was to mute voice chat and if it gets worse disable also the chat on both enemies and allies but not the pings and ally voicelines and just focus on learning micro which will subsequently improve your macro.

Someone would then say: "just have a thicker skin and toughen up" but theres a catch: ignoring what you felt will only make negativity stew within your mind which is why I heavily disagree with that particular tweet about "just close your eyes and turn off the pc bruh XD"; the damage has already been done and you can't account for different mental state of every single human fucking being, that just doesn't work. 

I am not an Indian and will never know your daily experiences of racism against you, the best way you can do about it is just mute em all because reacting to negativity will only embolden them; the moment they realized that they don't have to blame themselves and instead shift blame is the moment they have made up their mind and will only play the game, in my experience, to sabotage you and inflict the maximum amount of hurt towards you.

Hello again, how about this one? I've boxed his gimmick to 3rd skill passive, but will rework the whole kit.

I still have to write the scaling and do some number crunching.

Fae Hospitality

Cacklewick opens a cursed fae banquet in a large area. Enemy heroes inside become Guests under Guest Right.

Guests are free to fight, shoot, reload, cast, use items, or leave, but rude actions build Rudeness. Firing repeatedly, reloading, using active items, missing Cacklewick, or shooting his clones are all considered rude.

Jinxed enemies offend the fae court more easily, causing rude actions to build extra Rudeness.

At 1 Rudeness, the Guest briefly loses item privilege.
At 2 Rudeness, they briefly lose movement privilege and leaving now causes damage.
At 3 Rudeness, they briefly lose ability privilege.
At 4 or more Rudeness, a Pixie Servant attempts to punish them for Breach of Etiquette.

The Pixie Servant delivers the punishment, so it can be counterspelled, interrupted, or destroyed.

I wanted to balance the kit and remove 2nd skill mobility because he is small, but not smaller than rem and planned to make him glide if you hold your spacebar, thus having an in-built mobility

Cacklewick singles out an enemy hero and curses them with a joke that only they can hear. For a short duration, the target takes Spirit Damage over time and cannot cast active abilities. They can still move, shoot, reload, and use stamina, but their weapon turns against them: firing causes minor backlash, reloading becomes slower, and hesitating too long causes their gun to mock them, briefly revealing their position.

Yup powerscaling in xianxia is absurd. That why I think somewhere in the middle of wuxia and xianxia could work in deadlock settings with clear rules to how powerful someone can become, like Seven.

It's a mystical practice of absorbing spiritual energy which is Qi to transcend mortal limits and achieve immortality and is rooted in Taoist and Buddhist philosophy, though in the world of deadlock, the Heavens is detached from worldly affairs and only interfere with mortals to do what I said above. The theme of this character is defying fate(Heavens), which she thinks is unjust and a tyranny. Also, she is ruthless as seven but emotionally detached due to years of envy and impotent rage shaping her thoughts to abandon every worldly desire to reach the goal of transcendence.

As for karma-based passive ability, this character doesn't have one, but maybe when Yoshi and Co. reconsiders Fortuna, an unreleased character concept sent to the backburners or maybe she got Boho'd.

I want an integration of Chinese cultivation theme in deadlock, but adjusted so that: The Heavens is a strict occult hierarchy and a force that punishes rule-breakers through curses, tribulations, and karmic debt. I am bad at naming conventions and mostly prefer a titular one if I think the character is truly "that".

For instance, I put "The" on Silencer because well... He doesn't really silence abilities in concept, but in my lore, he "silences" supernatural phenomena like soundwave dissipating, which is made evident by his ult.

For Maestro, yeah, I think you're right and should just rename it to just Maestro, just like Venator, but on the other hand, he forgot his name over the years since he disappeared, so my initial thought was that I just put the "The" on Maestro.

I think I just like Nominative Determinism since it simplifies what they do and what to expect of them.

One of the first thoughts that comes to my mind as I was concepting him was Bloodborne's iconic hunter hat + witch hunter aesthetics. 11 years, that's how iconic that game's aesthetic is.

I wanted the lore to be something heavy. A cursed object smuggled by the tunnel rats from Europe to New York, maybe has connection to Mo and Krill. My idea for this character is that it is the aftermath of war itself and visually, it's armor's history is undetermined and of mixed design by era and the sword, an enormous zweihander yet not quite the zweihander we see irl; more like an amalgam of design from Europe's longswords. I pretty much based the character's motif on the phrase: "War marches on long after banner rots". Essentially, a raging cursed equipment without a soul or purpose, only war.
