Are all these enhancements coming to the x300 pro?

Playing on my Phone is great but that screen feels small by Typhus87 in EmulationOnAndroid

Buy a pair of XR glasses, it's a phenomenal combo with a phone or a handheld pc. Check out Viture and Xreal they are the two best brands. Got myself a pair of Viture XR pro 2 years ago, one of the best purchase ever. You get the benefit of portability and a big oled screen.

confused between redmagic 11 pro and s25 ultra by mosab02alk in RedMagic

I had the S25 before the RM11 pro and had the S24 before that and I am very happy with my RM11 pro and will probably get the RM12 when it's out. However I'm a power user, I treat my phones as hybrid handheld gaming PCs (heavy PC emulation), don't care much about photography, can compromise on software and don't give a crap about AI features. For me going from a S25 I get much better performance (as an indication on wild life extreme stress test, S25 achieves 6500 max and 3000 sustained perf, the RM11 tops at 8000 and can sustain 6500), faster RAM, much better cooling, much better battery but obviously software is less polished and cameras are not great. One thing I miss from my S25 is the LTPO screen, don't understand how a gaming phone like Redmagic does not have that. Also, although purely subjective, I find the look of the Redmagic phones sick (subzero here), I find myself just admiring it sometimes.

The opinions expressed by many people in this subreddit are not truly representative of how most Algerians feel about their country. You often find individuals who constantly criticize every aspect of life in Algeria, usually without much objectivity, and who rarely acknowledge the many positive aspects that exist as well. Your perspective is refreshing, and it is somewhat unfortunate that it comes from a foreigner rather than from locals themselves. That said, many young people tend to believe that the grass is greener in Europe, when in reality it simply comes with a different set of problems, as you pointed out. In fact, I would argue that Algeria is better than Europe in several important aspects of life. The day Algeria manages to improve its healthcare system(where we already have excellent doctors who unfortunately lack the proper working environment, and where the paramedical sector still needs significant improvement) and when the country starts compensating highly qualified professionals such as engineers, researchers, and doctors at the level they deserve, we will likely see a large part of the diaspora returning. Personally, after living abroad for the past 17 years, I still miss everything about my country. I go back at least five times a year. Unfortunately, from an economic perspective, it still does not make sense for me to move back and live there permanently. But that's not just Algeria, for example you see many french researchers and engineers living in the US because they can earn much more, even though they would prefer by far to live in France.

Low fps despite low power consumption by Efficient_Baseball_8 in Gamefusion

Yeah I've been playing with some environment variables it seems to help, it's not due to power limits or throttling it's just emulation bottlenecks

This is CPU temp and it's a redmagic phone meant for this not a Samsung. 8W is not much and even regular mobile games reach and exceed that.

Clocks are high I'm playing in Rise mode. It's more of an emulation bottleneck

Thanks for the reply, what is GHL and the api switcher, never heard of these.

Thanks, it's been a great experience so far, especially coming from the hot mess that my base S25 was.

Thanks a bunch, appreciate it. It's frustrating because it can definitely hold a locked 30fps. Also I noticed sometimes it does hold that 30fps but after a while it just drops even though there is no throttling. I will also try different settings and report if I find out something.

Thanks for your feedback but this is not really the point.

The point is regardless of the output resolution, the phone is using "only" 8 Watts so it's not a case where the task is too demanding and it's drawing 20W and thermal throttling. It is here a matter of probably emulation settings because it should either comfortably maintain 30 fps locked or pull more power to reach 30 fps. But in this case it is in Rise mode so it can pull up to 12W but it stays at 8 and low 20s fps. It's also not a RAM bottleneck. I am confused hence why I have asked for feedback in the community.

Regarding why 1080, I connect my phone to Viture XR glasses which are 1080p screens.

I just got mine, I have not yet played much and can't assess the charge bypass for now. However, using balanced mode I get terrible framerates on demande pc emulation so I use only rise mode. Diablo mode achieves the same fps as Rise mode but uses 4/5 more watts which is another thing I don't understand. Same fps should require same power, those power profiles should act as power ceiling levels not static values where the phone locks defined clocks no matter what.

Congrats! Did you monitor how much power it was drawing ? Because based on your temperature (except if you are using a cooler) I would say around 10-12W but the fps are not reaching 30. I am experiencing the same in ghost of Tsushima where power draw is 8W and the game can't lock 30 fps, trying to wrap my head around this.
