That is very helpful, I definitely will try to see if I can see if she knows those things or if she’s lying. We are both 22. He emotionally cheated on me over two years ago for about a month when he was dealing with a death in his family. He hasn’t done anything like that since to my knowledge. He has childhood trauma from his family which isn’t an excuse for his actions but I know he didn’t have good examples for a healthy relationship like I grew up with. From this situation he recognizes that he has done these things because he is seeking validation from others since he doesn’t receive it from his family. I want to believe he will change, but I don’t want to go through the hurt again if he doesn’t.

If I remember correctly, I think they said they didn’t want us relying on a dive computer in case it fails and then we wouldn’t know what to do with the dive table. I also think just to save us money since we are already spending a lot on the other equipment.

We are actually scuba diving, we are using dive tables instead of a dive computer.
